My speed test said 500 Mbps. Games still lagged. Speed tests measure bandwidth. Lag is latency: how long each request takes to come back. So I built a page that measures it to 40+ services you actually use, right from your browser 🐕 1ms.dog

Open any website and, before you click anything, it already knows your city, your network, your screen, your GPU and the fonts you've installed. No permission prompt. I built a page that reads all of it and writes it up as one paragraph about you 👀 who.1ms.dog

Why does a site keep throwing CAPTCHAs at you, or ask you to verify a login? Often it's a mismatch: your clock vs your location, your browser language vs your country, a DNS resolver somewhere else. 9 checks show what doesn't add up, and how to fix it.

71 sniffers, every one of them something any page can read: IP, city, network, TLS fingerprint OS, screen, GPU, CPU threads, RAM Dark mode, ad blocker, extensions Installed fonts (they hint whether you write code) Hover any blank in the paragraph to see which ones filled it.

Also: • /github/, /game/ etc. test one service or category • Share as an image or link, no IP address in it • Requests go straight from your browser; the site is static files and never sees your results • Tap the dog 5 times 👀

It doesn't stop at a number. Local fast, global slow → the route out of your region Local slow too → your router or Wi‑Fi Both fast → you're fine, the other end is slow Plus ratings for gaming, calls, streaming, AI and dev tools, each showing the services behind it.

Cloud latency maps all measure from datacenters. I wanted to know how fast each region is from my home connection, at 9pm, through my ISP. So I built Me2Cloud. It runs the test from your browser against 361 regions of 17 providers. m2c.1ms.dog

🐕 Me2Cloud update 🆕 Group your custom nodes; 🌏 Flags and regions detected automatically 🧩 Nodes shown as compact chips, click to edit, with one-click direct rules 🐕 A shiba runs while you test, faster when the latency is lower ...... 👉 m2c.1ms.dog

If you test with a proxy on, every region comes out about the same, because you're timing the proxy. The page checks for that and gives you direct rules for Clash, Surge, sing-box and others. They list the 413 exact test hostnames, so the rest of your traffic is left alone.

From Beijing today: AWS Beijing 7.7 ms, Alibaba Cloud Beijing 8.2 ms, Azure's best was Seoul at 83 ms, Google Cloud's was Los Angeles at 175 ms, Hetzner Singapore 500 ms. 172 regions in about three minutes.

Each sample is an HTTPS request on a reused connection. Browsers can't send ICMP, and a lot of ISPs throttle ping separately anyway. The catch is a bit of server time per request: about 0–5 ms on AWS, ~8 ms on Alibaba Cloud, ~20 ms on Huawei's object storage.

爷爷,小时候你跟我讲的那个什么项目更新了
Typecho 1.3.1-rc is out. Security fixes + a full XML-RPC rewrite (fixes trimmed code indents, false parsed as true, >7.5MB uploads). ⚠️ Test on a copy: passwords migrate on login, and downgrading will lock you out. github.com/typecho/typecho/r…

AWS Lightsail once charged me $500 in data transfer overage. The fix would have cost $15: same-region, same-size instances share one transfer pool, so three $5 IPv6 instances (2 TB each) would have covered it. I built a free, open-source calculator: ls.1ms.dog

It also works with AI agents. Hit "Use with AI", paste the prompt into ChatGPT or Claude, and it reads the site's llms.txt, runs the same rules and hands back a pre-filled link to check. calc.js and prices.json are CORS-enabled, so scripts can import them directly.

The gotchas: - in and out both use the allowance; only outbound overage is billed - instances added mid-month get a prorated allowance - overage already incurred can't be offset later - deleting and recreating doesn't reset the month's usage So add capacity before you run out.
