Sometimes I wonder why Allah doesn’t change certain things immediately. I make dua. I wait. I try to stay patient. And honestly, some days I get tired of waiting too. But maybe the waiting is doing something inside me that I can’t see yet. Maybe Allah is teaching me patience before giving me what I’m asking for. Maybe He is preparing me for something I’m not ready for yet. So instead of always asking, “When will this end?” I’m trying to ask myself, “What am I learning while I’m going through it?” I still have questions. I still get frustrated. But I’m learning that trusting Allah doesn’t mean never feeling weak. Sometimes it simply means being weak and still saying, “Allah knows what He is doing.” And maybe that is what sabr really looks like.
