According to all aerodynamic laws, the bumblebee cannot fly because its body weight is not in the right proportion to its wingspan, but ignoring these laws, the bees fly anyway.
You will succeed if you set your mind to it.
The importance of discernment.
Not everything that looks like an opportunity is meant for you. Not every invitation deserves your acceptance, and not every relationship is meant to go beyond a certain point.
Discernment is the ability to look beyond what is presented and understand what truly aligns with your values, purpose and direction.
As we grow, we must learn to distinguish between what is good and what is good for us.
It helps us make better decisions, protect our energy, invest our time wisely and avoid unnecessary distractions.
Sometimes, growth is not about doing more or having more. It is about having the wisdom to know what to embrace, what to question and what to walk away from.
Learn to use your judgment, listen, observe and think before you act.
Because not every open door is your door, and not every opportunity is worth pursuing.
Discernment is a powerful tool for navigating life and leadership.
The importance of being in the right community.
Growth is not always about what you know or how hard you work. Sometimes, it is also about the people you surround yourself with.
Be intentional about the communities you belong to. Find people who complement your strengths, challenge your thinking, encourage your growth and inspire you to become a better version of yourself.
Surround yourself with people who have qualities you admire, experiences you can learn from and values that align with the person you are aspiring to become.
Remember, the right community does not make you feel small. It creates room for you to grow while also giving you the opportunity to contribute to the growth of others.
Don’t just seek a community where you belong. Seek one where you can grow, contribute and become better.
Your environment matters. Choose it wisely.
Never lose sight of your WHY.
Every journey comes with its own challenges. There will be moments when things get difficult, progress seems slow, and you begin to question whether the effort is worth it.
In such moments, remind yourself WHY you started.
Your WHY gives you direction when things become unclear. It keeps you grounded when things are going well and gives you the strength to keep going when things get tough.
It reminds you that the journey is bigger than the temporary discomfort you may be experiencing.
There will always be obstacles, but having a clear reason for what you are doing helps you stay focused, resilient and committed.
So, pause from time to time and reconnect with your WHY.
Let it guide your decisions, strengthen your resolve and remind you of what truly matters.
The journey may not always be easy, but when your WHY is clear, you have a stronger reason to keep moving.
Be merciful to people, and Allah will be merciful to you.
One thing we should never forget is that everyone is fighting battles we may know nothing about.
Be kind in your words. Be patient with people’s shortcomings. Be gentle when correcting others. Learn to forgive, give people room to grow, and never use your position or power to make life difficult for someone else.
You don’t have to agree with everyone, but you can always choose to treat people with dignity and compassion.
Remember, we all need Allah’s mercy. And one of the ways we can seek it is by showing mercy to His creation.
Give people the kindness you hope to receive. Show mercy, because we all need it.
May Allah make us among those who are merciful and grant us His endless mercy. Ameen.
