Manhandled, dragged, assaulted n misbehaved inside a police vehicle and dumped by the roadside - for the crime of speaking to the media.
This is not merely an assault on an MP. It is an assault on democratic freedoms and the rule of law. More chillingly, it happened within hours of the Supreme Court issuing directions to safeguard peaceful protest and constitutional rights.
I have written to the Hon’ble President of India @rashtrapatibhvn , the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha @VPIndia and the Chief Justice of India seeking urgent intervention and fixing accountability for the police personnel, and action on the question of parliamentary privilege.
The Government cannot intimidate democracy into silence. It cannot substitute the force of the baton for the force of debate. And it shouldn’t expect the people to surrender their constitutional freedoms merely because those in power find dissent inconvenient. The strength of a democracy lies not in its capacity to suppress dissent, but in its ability to address it.
Replying to @DelhiPolice
@DelhiPolice does this come under your definition of desecration of public property, inconveniencing regular traffic? Or are those orders applicable just for protests?

AI doesn’t commit crimes. People do.
Saying “AI hacked a company” is like saying a rock broke into a car. The tool didn’t decide to act, accept risk or assume liability.
The media needs to stop reporting AI as the perpetrator.
If Google builds, deploys or controls the system, Google owns the consequences.
Blaming “AI” removes the human and corporate actor from the sentence. That removes accountability with it.

Periodic reminder that AI is far more likely to cause an apocalypse because it is too dumb than because it is too smart.
NEW: An AI-assisted intel report sent the military scrambling to intercept a Chinese ship in the Middle East it believed was transporting components of a nuclear weapons program.
It turned out to be a hallucination. And it "almost started a war." cnn.com/2026/09/18/politics/…
Such an insightful piece by @RajeevRC_X. Voluntary disclosure is not a governance system. We need a statutory body with powers to compel disclosure, audit systems, and impose restrictions.
.@AnthropicAI's CEO @DarioAmodei, @OpenAI's @sama and @elonmusk — three fierce competitors who have spent billions racing each other building the world’s most powerful AI — agreed to a slowdown in one weekend.
That is not a PR moment; it is a fire alarm.
But the voluntary slowdown debate is the wrong frame entirely.
The right question is not how to slow development. It is how to accelerate governance.
AI is no longer merely a tool that generates harmful content. It is now an orchestration layer.

The frontier model companies are responsible for how their products perform in the real world, and their customers are responsible for how they use them.
If a user of Claude runs a cyberattack — especially one at scale — both the customer and the platform will be sued.
This should be enough of an incentive to force these companies (let’s stop calling them labs) to produce safe products AND monitor for unsafe use (i.e. ie hacking).
These frontier models have the option to lock them down… they can require a driver's license, Social Security number/tax ID, biometrics, etc., to use the latest models if they’re so dangerous—just like buying a gun or driving a car. They can monitor the logs of the latest models, too.
Or they can provide anonymous access to their open-source models…there are plenty of safeguards that I don’t hear any of them talk about—which is odd.

This one man is responsible for taking India back to the dark ages. He is the most tone deaf and unempathetic PM we have ever had. Not a word on the building collapse in Delhi where a lot of students are stuck/dead under the rubble but yes let's celebrate the temple being constructed in Paris. I am pretty sure he will go there for a photo op like he did with the plane crash. Also demolishing/desecrating mosques and churches in India has been normalized but let's celebrate temples being constructed in other countries. We are closing down schools every day, we are spending 12 rupees on midday meals per child, paper leaks happen every year but let's celebrate mandirs being constructed. His politics is only about mandir masjid, maas macchi, hindu muslim and elections. People are dumb fools if they still support him.
#WATCH | Prime Minister Narendra Modi says, "A magnificent temple was inaugurated in Abu Dhabi in 2024. Today, thousands of people visit it to offer their prayers. And now, the construction of the Swaminarayan temple in Paris stands as a testament to the continuity of creation and the resolute will of the saints... I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the BAPS Swaminarayan organization and to the crores of devotees on this occasion. Whenever temples are consecrated in various countries through BAPS, India's ancient philosophy and human values travel along with them. India’s philosophy says, 'Samanam Manah Sahachittamesham,' meaning that our minds should be in harmony and our hearts should be connected. Therefore, the completion of such a magnificent temple in France will not only enrich the country's diversity but also invigorate the cultural ties between India and France."

Collapsing buildings. Dilapidated infrastructure. Broken roads. Polluted air. Choked sewers.
With no funds and no accountability, either political or bureaucratic - India’s Urban Governance has become a complete nightmare.
It’s high time we start talking about it.

This isn’t about one building. From Satya Niketan to Vijay Nagar, Patel Chest to Gurmandi, Delhi’s hostel crisis feeds the PG mafia.
BJP controls Delhi top to bottom: Centre, Govt, LG, MCD, MPs, MLAs, Councillors. Yet hostels remain scarce. Why? Because PG mafia money flows through owners, brokers, DU VC & DUSU into the BJP.
Maybe that’s why Modi at SRCC had plenty to say about “dimagi naxals”, but nothing about students’ demand for hostels and infrastructure.
