You really don't understand do you. You think this kind of shouting negates the science;
1. Folate (found abundantly in certain foods) has a different chemical structure than folic acid and therefore reacts and interacts with the body differently.
2, The only people in society that need supplementing are pregnant women.
3. There are many groups of people for whom folic acid is harmful and the list includes:
- People with Vitamin B12 Deficiency Anaemia or Pernicious Anaemia: High doses of folic acid can correct the blood-related symptoms of a B12 deficiency (megaloblastic anaemia) while failing to stop progressive nerve and spinal cord damage, leading to permanent neurological issues.
- Individuals with a History of Certain Cancers: High-dose synthetic folic acid supplements may promote the growth or recurrence of pre-existing cancer cells, particularly in individuals with a history of prostate or colorectal cancer.
- People with a Coronary Stent: Folic acid supplements have historically raised concerns or interactions regding cardiovascular outcomes in specific patient groups with stents or active heart disease management; medical supervision is required.
- People with a Known Allergic Reaction: Anyone who has previously experienced an allergic or hypersensitivity reaction to folic acid or any inactive ingredient in the tablet or liquid formulation.
- Children Under 12 Years (with Multivitamins): Multivitamins combining other ingredients with folic acid are generally not recommended for children under 12 unless specifically prescribed by a paediatrician. [1]
- Individuals with MTHFR C677T Polymorphisms (at high synthetic doses): Genetic variations like MTHFR can impair the body's ability to convert synthetic folic acid into active 5-MTHF, leading to a buildup of unmetabolized folic acid (UMFA) in the bloodstream when high quantities are consumed.
Because I am a scientist and you are not, references for all of above; NIH, NHS, Healthline. Perhaps do some proper research before jumping on a bandwagon and hope you don't get a cancer that folic acid can exacerbate (High-dose synthetic folic acid supplements may promote the growth or recurrence of pre-existing cancer cells, particularly in individuals with a history of prostate or colorectal cancer)
The NHS, innovating harder than ever to keep you in hospital.
Today's special is the Shred-Your-Gut Salad - raw kale and cabbage, drenched in seed oils.
Bon appetit.

Time has run out and.. we made it! The frequency toothbrush was 105% funded! Thank you everyone for the faith and support, onwards to manufacturing now!
What if your toothbrush vibrated at 528 Hz? Or would you prefer 432 Hz? Maybe 7.83 Hz would be better?

The” cry it out” method was strongly recommended in early 1900s by the U.S. Department of Labor. Ironically, this was during an era of industrialization, when women’s participation in paid labor was growing.
It says everything you need to know about the subject.
What if the “Cry It Out” sleep training (aka extinction-based sleep training) has contributed to mental health issues in young people?
In some ways, it’s the most insane thing to do to a child (and is based on incredibly poor science). For centuries, families co-slept without issues, but in modern times, it has become increasingly taboo… why?
How can repeated emotional non-response to a baby be healthy? What does it do to their stress calibration, attachment expectations, and self-regulation? How does it play out in their long term relationships and social connections?
I’ve read the studies and they are poorly designed and weakly supported. Yet, we have an entire generation of parents that blindly follow this insane protocol without reviewing the data themselves.
To be fair, the data supporting co-sleeping is weak as well, but it has centuries of precedent so I feel much more comfortable supporting that than a new approach that was largely instituted since the 1920s.
For some context, in the 20th century, behaviorist John Watson (1928), interested in making psychology a hard science, took up the crusade against affection as president of the American Psychological Association. He applied the paradigm of behaviorism to childrearing, warning about the dangers of “too much mother love”. The 20th century was the time when “science" was assumed to know better than mothers, grandmothers, and families about how to raise a child. Too much kindness to a baby would result in a whiney, dependent, failed human being.
A government pamphlet from the time recommended that "mothering meant holding the baby quietly, in tranquility-inducing positions" and that "the mother should stop immediately if her arms feel tired" because "the baby is never to inconvenience the adult." A baby older than six months "should be taught to sit silently in the crib; otherwise, he might need to be constantly watched and entertained by the mother, a serious waste of time."
The truth is the opposite. We now know that ignoring a child raising cortisol levels and hurts trust and attachment. Yet, every young parent I know today has been brainwashed to let their child cry in silence. It’s truly wild.

Why would you cook your meat in plastic
"If you get better, you never had MCAS in the first place." So by definition nobody can ever get better.
It's the same with loads of poorly understood chronic conditions. The cast iron 'fact' is that it's incurable, and everything gets built on that incredibly limiting foundation. Type 2 diabetes was 'lifelong and progressive' for years, and now the NHS runs a remission programme for it.
The real damage is what that belief does to people. If you're told your body can't heal, why would you bother looking? I see it on here (moreso on Instagram) constantly. The condition becomes the identity, the community, the content. Then when someone suggests something that might help, it gets shut down exactly like the pharmacist did. I understand why. Getting better would mean losing something. But that is the trap.
We can speculate on who benefits from everyone believing it's lifelong, but the appointment and prescription system, and the treatment pathways simply aren't designed to look for a way out.
A diagnosis needn't be a life sentence. If anything it can be thing that takes you to heights far beyond where you would've gone without it. I'd never have learnt half of what I know about my own health if I hadn't been forced to. It's a bit like compressing a spring...
This week I went to the pharmacy to pick up more LDN and ended up chatting with the pharmacist about MCAS, EDS, and POTS.
She told me that all of her MCAS patients would likely need to take antihistamines daily for the rest of their lives. Lol? She also insisted that MCAS is purely genetic and spoke about it as though lifelong pharmaceutical management was essentially inevitable.
I politely mentioned that I personally know several people with MCAS who have been able to come off antihistamines, manage their symptoms through other approaches, and experience significant improvements in their health.
Her response? “Well, they probably don’t have MCAS then.” 😂 Apparently, improving to the point of no longer needing daily medication calls your original diagnosis into question?
She proceeded to speak to me in an increasingly condescending manner, dismissing anything that challenged her understanding of the condition, until I eventually just walked out. Very strange interaction.
It’s so concerning that “medical professionals” present one approach to managing a complex condition as though it is the only possible trajectory. This is particularly concerning with conditions like MCAS.
I don’t know why I would expect anything different, but I found myself a bit shocked by this. Another beautiful reminder of how important it is to advocate for yourself and develop your own understanding of your health. You must be discerning about whose understanding of health you allow to shape your own. A medical professional’s interpretation is not an infallible truth, and a diagnosis should never become a story about the limitations of what your body is capable of.
It's a decent list, but it's missing the seasonal component.
Summer is for loading up on Sun and filling your vitamin D stores.
Winter is for leaning into the dark and the cold: early nights, morning walks in shorts. We're not meant to live in the same season all year round.
Instead of consuming rat poison this winter (Vitamin D3 supplements), do this:
> Accukulate as much sun as possible in the summer months
> Fly to a warm country in winter if possible
> Get as much sun on your skin as possible
> Eat a high fat diet
> Consume fatty fish, eggs and dairy for sufficient Vitamin D
There's an excellent Jack Kruse podcast on this subject, for those of us who live in the northern hemisphere.

This is more significant than a toothbrush; this gives you ~1 watt of mechanical power at 30+ different frequencies. It is a primary tool, one that people haven't had before.
We will set bigger things in motion than a little brush with this. Just you wait.
The lowest frequency it's currently set to produce is 174 Hz.
Let's discuss what we could drive with that!
If we CNC some stainless steel, we have extremely good accuracy, so we would make perfect cirlce with 297mm diameter and 3mm thickness, and this would resonate acoustically at 174 Hz
Do you know how many watts we would have vibrating at that 174 Hz resonance? Around 500 watts.
This doesn't mean that 499 watts appeared out of nowhere, it starts at 1 watt, then 2 watt, then 3 watt, etc it builds up over many cycles. So after 500 cycles, which is about 3 seconds (174 Hz, remember) we have reached the peak amplitude of 500 watts of 174 Hz.
From a "toothbrush"
On a technical level, I was kind of annoyed to call it a toothbrush. It felt wrong, when I made the logo. But that's what people are buying. That's reality right now. With my other eye, I see all the possibilities we have.
The next version (which might be a while since I will focus on the water) will not be focused on achieving higher motor power. No, it will attempt to maximize the "audio quality" of the motor, so we can project an entire sound file into the toothbrush motor.
The purpose of this would not be to listen to music (although that would of course be very cool) but so that we can induce various chemical reactions into the body. It is known that if you record the electromagnetic signal from a chemical, it can be conveyed via sound waves, which assists the formation of said chemical in the body. So-called "infoceuticals". It's not something I've done any work with, but it does seem to work, not in a lab but with life. A story comes to mind, of some medical convention that were doing this and they played a recording of a thyroid at a seminar and they had to abort as several in the audience fell ill of temporary hyperthyroidism.
Another thing I really want for the next version would be to mimic the EEG brain frequency patterns from various people. Like you could have a 10 minute pattern of a power-lifter getting ready to break his record. Or an opera singer before they go on stage. Or a sleeping baby. Everything from high to low has already been recorded with an EEG. We just need the technical means to convey this through a motor.
Are you excited? I'm excited. We have ~1 mechanical watts, and with a long enough lever we can move the world.

If you have an electric toothbrush, it vibrates your entire skull with a force many *thousand* times greater than the sum of every single sound you heard during the entire day..!
Wouldn't it be nice, if this vibration wasn't at some random frequency in the 200-400 Hz range?
Imagine if your toothbrush vibrated at the healing frequency 528 Hz, with its significant health benefits, like immediately lowering cortisol, increasing oxytocin, improving mood, decreasing pain as well as painkillers, and increasing testosterone?
Well, I designed a toothbrush that does exactly that!
Not only 528 Hz, which is a little high for *optimal* cleaning efficiency; you can actually select from a range of 30+ different frequencies!
You can listen to all the frequencies right now, just follow the link in the next tweet, I made a virtual toothbrush you can play around with!
Now, this is going to work kind of like a Kickstarter. If not enough people buy, there won't be a toothbrush, and I will refund everyone. But that's not going to happen, this will be a smashing success! I tweeted about my plan to do this last summer, and I got extremely positive response.
But then something happened, something fantastic - I found a way to charge water with electricity with miraculous health results, so I put the toothbrush project on the shelf, and dedicated myself to water engineering, but now the time is right for the toothbrush.
Any and all proceeds will go toward accelerating my water research (and feeding my family). If you like this, or me, or the water, please RT and spread the word!
