Terrifying WW3 warning. Cenk Uygur reveals China and Pakistan officially warned they will nuke Israel if Israel drops a nuclear bomb on Iran. Trump's disastrous subservience to Netanyahu has put the entire world on the absolute brink of a nuclear holocaust.

Iran can bomb Israel from thousands of kilometers away and not kill one child. Israel cannot attack a Palestinian target from 0 distance without killing scores of children daily

What an Orwellian world we live in. Israel launches a clearly illegal and unprovoked attack on Iran, in violation of the U.N. charter, and with no imminent Iran attack in sight, or any Iranian nukes developed, and its western allies come out to say they reaffirm *Israel’s* right to defend itself, not Iran’s. The aggressor’s, not the victim of the illegal attack.
This, I guess, is the west’s ’rules-based international order.’
France has repeatedly condemned Iran’s ongoing nuclear program and has taken all appropriate diplomatic measures in response.
In this context, France reaffirms Israel’s right to defend itself and ensure its security.
To avoid jeopardizing the stability of the entire region, I call on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and to de-escalate.
Following the Israeli strikes on Iran and its nuclear program, I convened the National Defence and Security Council this morning.
All necessary steps will be taken to protect our nationals and our diplomatic and military missions in the region.
All measures will also be implemented to ensure the protection of our national territory and our fellow citizens.
France stands ready to work with all its partners to push for de- escalation in the Near and Middle East.
Today, I spoke with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, the King of Jordan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, the Emir of Qatar, the German Chancellor, the British Prime Minister, and the President of the United States.
Peace and security for all in the region must remain our guiding principle.

Netanyahu abandoning the ceasefire deal to salvage his radical far-right government is despicable.
Stick to the deal. Free the hostages. End the killing. Withdraw from Gaza.
It’s sickening to see a renewed military offensive, so many more kids dead, and any peace disappear.
There is no justification at all for Israel to resume the war in Gaza / @yossi_melman

Today, I met a woman holding three small children as she evacuated yet again. She told me it’s probably her 30th time evacuating. Her husband, parents, and siblings have all been killed, and she now finds herself alone with young children, desperately searching for shelter and food. This is who Israel is bombing .

Please read and share. ❗️Genocide is the intention to destroy a group as such❗️Using a 'triple lens approach' allows to easily understand it. All is needed is looking at:
➡️the totality of conduct (which may include either crimes per se - killing, torture, forced displacement, etc - or acts conducive to crimes),
➡️against the totality of the group (e.g. Israel treats any Palestinian, old or young, as a security threat, arrestable or even killable, which facilitates all manners of unlawful conduct and justification thereof);
➡️in the totality of the land (the entire occupied Palestinian territory, namely what Israel claims sovereignty on and where Palestinians 'must' be uprooted/eliminated).
Far from being 'a novel approach', what I propose is common sense, based on int'l law and jurisprudence.
My last report, Genocide as Colonial Erasure, explains the long-standing colonial logic of the unfolding genocide, and I am glad @Law4Palestine summarised it. 👇

Special Rapporteur (SR) @FranceskAlbs report to the UNGA highlights patterns of conduct that evidence an intent to employ genocidal acts as a means to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt). 🧵

I wonder how members of Western and Arab governments with influence over Israel live, as their ally carries out this senseless sadistic attack on critically sick patients and their doctors. A new low within this genocidal campaign. Something that would have been unthinkable even to the most perverse mind 14 months ago. May justice knock soon at their door, as that of every Israelis who are part of this MONSTRUOSITY.

The world has witnessed the government of Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in occupied Gaza. Month after month, the government of Israel has treated Palestinians in Gaza as a subhuman group unworthy of human rights and dignity, demonstrating its specific intent to physically destroy them. Israel's government and state officials responsible for the crime of genocide must be held accountable. We are calling on all States to use every legal avenue to bring suspected perpetrators to justice. No one should be allowed to commit genocide and remain unpunished. amnestyusa.org/gaza-genocide

A UN school designated by UNRWA as a safe zone for displaced families was bombed today, dozens killed and injured. No warnings until after the bombing. This genocide has educated the world on Israel’s modus operandi: bomb homes, schools, hospitals, mosques, churches and any civilian infrastructure, and employ the phrase “human shields”. All the while, video evidence shows Israeli soldiers using Palestinian hostages as human shields.

The vote by the Israeli Parliament (Knesset) against @UNRWA this evening is unprecedented and sets a dangerous precedent. It opposes the UN Charter and violates the State of Israel’s obligations under international law.
This is the latest in the ongoing campaign to discredit UNRWA and delegitimize its role towards providing human-development assistance and services to #Palestine Refugees.
These bills will only deepen the suffering of Palestinians, especially in #Gaza where people have been going through more than a year of sheer hell.
It will deprive over 650,000 girls & boys there from education, putting at risk an entire generation of children.
These bills increase the suffering of the Palestinians & are nothing less than collective punishment.
Putting an end to UNRWA & its services will not strip the Palestinians from their refugee status. That status is protected by another UN General Assembly resolution until a fair and lasting solution is found to the plight of the Palestinians.
Failing to push back these bills will weaken our common multilateral mechanism established after World War 2.
This should be a concern to all.
