Bear Market Farming 101 - Market is crabbing - Trading edge is pretty low with volatile macros - Farming up points / tokens of protocols with decent founders and edge in their market segment - Overall low TVL across various ecosystems = Less dilution for points - Sustainability is key. Protocols must be able to outlast extended market volatility -------- 1. $ETH Farm - @mETHProtocol Yes I'm biased with this one. - $ETH have been underperforming severely over the past year but I still keep a decent stack. - $cmETH currently still offers one of the highest baseline $ETH staking yields + Multiple restaking rewards - Methamorphosis S3 just launched - Deposited $cmETH into @mizulabs vaults Yield : $ETH Staking yield + Potential $COOK rewards + Restaking Rewards +HypeEVM Rewards -------- 2. Stables Farms - My bread and butter during market downturns - @pendle_fi and @TradeNeutral remains my choice of stable farms - $sUSDe Bera PTs offer stable and reliable returns - @TradeNeutral JLP Traders Rekt Vaults offer 20-50% APR on $USDC with 3x NT Points - There are higher yielding stable farms if you are willing to loop on lending markets but I am avoiding them for now due to the lack of time to monitor the markets. Yield : Pendle PT Fixed Yield or Neutral Trade $USDC yield + 3x NT Points -------- 3. Consumer App Points Farms - Feels that this would be an emerging category in the next cycle - Simple and easy to use Apps that allow normies to access crypto - UX is king for such Apps and we start to see a number of them with different approach launching - @defiapp feels like the app with the best UX for now. InfoFi App Points Farms - A emerging economy that leverages on the financialization of social data - Attention is integral in the crypto market and I'm confident that @KaitoAI will be a key player in the space regardless of market conditions - @KaitoAI have also steadily pushed updates and improvements to the protocol over the past few months - $Kaito staking offers decent staking yield + yield from bribes from protocols launching on the launchpad - @YapCol have been steadily streaming rewards from bribes to users - Yaps earned from posting on X also serves as a form of potential yield for users that does not want to farm w capital - @KaitoAI did a first round of $KAITO airdrops and i believe we would see future airdrops for ecosystem participants in the future -------- Final thoughts: - Been through many cycles and I don't really feel this cycle would be any different. - As the markets gear up for the next move , look out for teams with longevity and sustained efforts to push adoption. - There are various different ways to farm and gain exposure to projects and its really up to the user to identify what suits your portfolio set up - A healthy mix of farms that focuses on short term liquid yield + longer term points farming is my preferred exposure Happy farming~ Cheers.
