As I said before, TB getting NG will add more pressure on MSP to do something about the systemically biased, racist, classist institution they run. Once someone realizes this & changes their opinion, its not fair for them to be attacked by the self-serving antis. I assume I was blocked by NEW bc I wasn't nice about it. I didn’t follow the Karen Read trial for the drama. Although there’s plenty of it in this community, I followed it because I’m passionate about injustice.
Maybe I don’t throw money around or send big Super Chats to show my support, but I’ve given the most valuable things I have: my time, my energy, and my passion for fighting the good fight.
When it comes to Karen Read and Aidan Kearney, I don’t weaponize the injustices BOTH have faced as leverage in online drama. Anyone who does isn’t some “amazing friend”—they’re the tilapia of the world.
I do consider people enemies when they want an innocent woman framed for murder sent to prison, or when they celebrate a man facing real prison time for exposing the corruption behind it.
Real integrity means standing by what you believe is right, regardless of who you like. If your principles only apply when it’s convenient, they were never principles to begin with.
