How do I look to NYT for proper news when their focus is "a deeply traumatized Israel", and putting the 40k+ dead Palestinians--among which maaaaany thousands of children -- second to Israel's 1500???

Finally an easy way to explain that "No, my book is not coming out soon, despite me having finished my first draft!" 😄😄😭
At least once month, I re-explain publishing to my mom. It's a complicated process! So I made a set of infographics with the big-picture steps. Sharing for anyone else who also explains this constantly to friends and family! First up: Big 5 trad pub.
