fuck. an NFT company that can’t even mint NFTs? not ideal.
we are not sorry, but we are prideful - and we take our craft and our story seriously. so we’re rugging HARMONY and taking everything down.
the set up:
- we kicked off the second leg of our journey in the G*BOY universe with an in-world mint for a medication called HARMONY that would result in winners of the HARMIES art collection on [blockchain]
- we built something interesting and unique, and in our testing it felt fun and snappy and unlike anything any of us had ever experienced before in the space, and this was just the first part…
- our expectation was for this to draw in our main supporters and grow the people that were exposed to our world, we expected thousands of new people to come in the door and we set up our infrastructure to support this
- it ends up we needed to account for 10-20x more tx per second than we had anticipated
- this resulted in people waiting FOREVER for their NFTs to arrive, referral codes getting double dipped, and the system backing up on itself until all of the fun interactions we had built became frustrating turds clogging the toilet. everything got stuck in a queue and our beloved devs started having to run everyone's interactions through a script to catch us up. it was brutal. we think @greenie_sr @boris0chuck and @demdev007 aged 25 years in a day.
the rug:
the HARMONY site will be locked by 5pm ET today. no new mints, no looking at the cool art, no trying to rank up and no participating in the ponzi. it’s all fucking over.
until Monday.
until the drooling hoard can get the experience that we were hoping they could and we can tell the story the way it deserves to be told.
until the real game begins.
yesterday was the first part of a two act story. the next part will last longer and things are going to get weird - it’s not a thing we’ve ever seen done before - so we want to make sure shit is smooth as butter.
we’ll kick off next week with a new thicker, girthier system that should be able to handle the force of a trillion degenerates.

In a world where things are becoming increasingly digital, the same applies to art. Digital art has existed since the late last century, but blockchain has changed something fundamental: digital works can now be traded with ownership rights, in a simple and transparent way, without an intermediary.
Dozens of online marketplaces such as exchange.art, mallow.art, superrare.com and objkt.com offer artists around the world the opportunity to offer their work directly to collectors. Social media connect these platforms, artists and collectors with one another, giving rise to online exhibitions and communities that continue to thrive in group chats, Discord, and in the real world as well.
Digital art and collectibles also offer unique possibilities. Works are easy to share, can be collected worldwide (without shipping) and stored in large quantities (with no limitation of physical space). Possibilities for exhibition are equally broad: from screens and wall-sized projections to online galleries and Virtual Reality.
Tolo Gallery was born from enthusiasm for new technology, in this case blockchain, and a deep love of art. What started as a small collection of a few works grew into a digital gallery with more than 500 works by 250 international artists and 8 carefully curated exhibitions. In 2025, Tolo Gallery was invited by @JTLissPhotoArt to curate a show in New York during NFT NYC. The gallery is now regularly approached for interviews and international exhibitions around the world.
Tolo Gallery's private collection is, in concept and scale, unique in the world and demonstrates what digital art is capable of: giving rise to entirely new concepts and connecting people on a scale that is practically impossible with physical art.

One of the biggest reasons this collection took so long to complete is the care put into making sure every trait works seamlessly with the others. We landed at around 250 traits in the final set—many more were created but ultimately left out because they didn’t meet the standard of harmony we were aiming for.
I’m truly proud of how it all came together, and even happier to see collectors enjoying their pulls. I’ve always believed art NFTs shouldn’t feel like a lottery, which is why so much thought went into this process.
There are still plenty of trait ideas waiting in the vault—saving those for future 1/1s and what’s to come.
