In a small village near the Padma River in Bangladesh, there is an old belief: never answer someone calling your name after midnight.
The villagers call it Nishir Daak The Call of the Night Spirit.
One rainy night, a young man named Rafi was studying alone when he heard his mother calling from outside.
Rafi open the door.
He looked at the clock. 2:13 AM.
His mother had died three years ago.
Thinking it was a dream, he ignored the voice.
Then it came again.
Rafi I'm getting wet. Please let me in.
His blood turned cold. He slowly approached the window and pulled back the curtain.
Standing beneath the mango tree was his mother, wearing the same white saree in which she had been buried.
But something was terribly wrong.
Her feet were facing backward.
Suddenly, his phone vibrated.
A message appeared from an unknown number
DON'T LOOK BEHIND YOU.
Rafi froze.
Because the voice outside had stopped.
Now he could hear his mother's breathing directly behind his ear.
A cold hand touched his shoulder.
And a whisper said:
If I'm outside... who do you think is standing behind you
The electricity went out.
The next morning, villagers found Rafi's room locked from the inside.
His phone lay on the floor, still recording.
The final recording contained three voices.
Rafi screaming.
His mother laughing.
And a third voice whispering:
