Just used Github Copilot to help write a python script to reconcile all my bank transactions with my accounting and wow it's amazing how much it can predict.

We ran this full-page ad in @nytimes and several local papers today.
Human drivers aren't good enough. America can do better, and it is time we fully embrace AVs.

I can’t count the times I’ve been told that AVs will *never* be able to handle certain situations.
How about taking a passenger through North Beach on St. Patrick’s day?
Absolutely wild. Thanks to this driverless @Cruise AV (named Twin Peaks) for the clip.
I learned stuff from this. Eventually I think the downstream stakeholders will change the incentives to fix this but not before massive pain and costs have been felt.

1) Monday night was a night I’ll never forget. I’m still speechless. I got to take the first ride, by anyone, ever, in a *driverless* robotaxi on the streets of San Francisco.
This was officially ride #1 for @Cruise. Full story and vids below.

We are going to spend $4 billion dollars decommissioning a nuclear plant that is 26% of California’s carbon-free energy, which costs 40% less than power we buy from other providers and has a risk of failure of less than 1 in 7 million years 🤯😭😤en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diab…
Tales from Nevada city: the girl doing Jess’s hair asks her if she got the vaccine.
Jess: Yeah totes.
Hair lady: Did you know one of the vaccines can actually connect to Bluetooth?
Jess: …………
Hair lady: And one of the other vaccines, magnets will actually stick to your body

Friendship depends on trust and trust depends on having a strong sense of concern for the welfare of others. Be honest, truthful and warm-hearted. Make compassion the basis of your determination. Think of what the future can be, not what happened in the past.
Are there any startups that are working on systems to show proof of vaccination? I imagine similar to QR code ticket validation. I think there will be a market with private businesses like restaurants and event producers as we reach critical mass of vaccinated people.
On a lighter note, from the Grass Valley police blotter, Sunday at 9:24am - A man from Gates Place reported he offered another man coffee, and the man got mad and sprayed stuff on him. No charges were requested.
