This is really interesting. You all kept feeding me pictures of raised buildings and flat lands and told me that’s all that’s left of Gaza. Suddenly I see a standing city!
I'm a non Jewish Zionist.
- I support Israel's right to exist & be secure.
- I support Palestinian rights & self-determination.
- I can criticise Israeli government policies.
- I can condemn Hamas & its actions.
- I can support a peaceful future for both Israelis & Palestinians.
These were arrests/detentions in a conflict zone with documented security friction, not baseless abductions. The girls were processed and (in the 2018 matching case) released.
BREAKING: Harrowing footage of Israeli soldiers abducting Palestinian girls in the occupied West Bank town of Beitunia.

Thanks for posting the Reuters article, it says:
"Priest, firefighters say smoke still rising from burned hillside on Wednesday"
No church or village was set on fire.

Anti-Semite propaganda:
"Someone has an interest in making you believe Jews burned a church. It makes a great story when you have enough funding to spread the word."
The burning of the Taybeh Church did not happen.

If Pro-Palestinians truly care about people of Gaza, they should want Gazans freed from Hamas.
For years Hamas has suppressed dissent, silenced critics & denied people the freedom to choose their own leaders. The people of Gaza deserve better than authoritarian rule & endless war

Trump wants oil and accolades.
Israel wants to survive and end the regime.
They are not on the same side at all.
Settlers aren't systematically killing Israeli soldiers.
Hamas has systematically targeted Israeli soldiers as part of its military strategy for decades.
- More freedom for women, especially around dress rules & personal choice
- Less political repression
- More openness in media & public discussion
- Economic improvement thru more trade & foreign investment if sanctions ease
- Reduced involvement in regional proxy conflicts

I am a Zionist. Many people out there don’t seem to understand what a Zionist is - and what it isn’t - so here you go.
I believe in the existence of a Jewish home land, Israel, in the land of Judea, where it currently is.
As a Zionist, I do not automatically agree with or support everything the country does, nor do I automatically agree with every government, every politician, every decision.
As a Zionist, I am free to criticize policies and governments of Israel, just the same as I am to criticize the Canadian government or the American government or any other government.
I can believe that the Israelis who spit on Christians should be charged, and I do.
I can believe that the violence in Judea and Samaria needs to be stopped, and I do.
I can believe that every single Israeli, regardless of religion, who commits rape, should be tried and should face the harshest punishments, and I do.
I can believe that every single war crime committed by an Israeli should be prosecuted, and I do.
I can believe that Israel should be held to the same standards of every other nation, and I do.
The only things I don’t do, because I’m a Zionist?
Call for the destruction of the only Jewish nation in the world.
Hold them to a far higher standard than everyone else, just because they’re Jewish.
Spread false propaganda about them, just because they’re Jewish.
Because even though you pretend that’s “antizionism”, it’s just masking your true motives.
Jew hatred.
Israel & Lebanon have reportedly agreed a ceasefire. Hezbollah to end all activity south of Litani River, while Lebanese Army takes control of areas vacated by Israeli forces.
Can Hezbollah actually stay out of southern Lebanon this time & will Lebanese army enforce it this time?
Lebanon has filed an unprecedented complaint at United Nations accusing Iran of violating international law, interfering in its internal affairs & acting thru institutions including IRGC in ways it says contributed to devastating conflict with widespread casualties & displacement

Hamas admitting fault means admitting it chose armed action whilst knowing Gazans had no protection. It embedded its fighters among civilians & couldn’t defend them. Their martyrdom has replaced governance & their blame shifted entirely to Israel so they can survive politically.
Anti-Semitism in Australia. Well-known Avner's Jewish Bakery in Sydney run by Chef Halmagyi, recently closed its doors in December 2025, citing relentless antisemitic harassment, vandalism & threats following the Bondi Beach terror attack as reasons for the difficult decision.
