Don't get wrapped up in the doom and gloom put out there. A lockout is a pressure tactic, used before. Of course they aren't going to agree to anything before implementing it. I know how these negotiations work from the inside. Both sides want/need baseball played in 2027!

12 strikeouts and 3 HR's... Just how the Brewers are built to win! Haha

Boom!!! 💥 mistakes get magnified in the postseason.

Holy defensive meltdown! Bronx is rocking!!!!!!!

Beyond my newsletter and podcast around The Save. I'm looking forward to Co-hosting a show with one of my favorite teammates of all time. This has been a long time coming! Him completely unfiltered will be awesome! Stay tuned.

Missed HR call last night during Orioles game was crazy. With all the tech in the game, this shouldn't happen. Could have an impact on final standings. We shall see.

"I found out i was traded from fans in the stands". Pretty weird but looking back funny moment. Read it all at thesavenewsletter.com

New (free) issue out. thesavenewsletter.com

I kept a journal after every outing for the majority of my career. So a newsletter felt like the right place to start. Introducing The Save. New issue every Tuesday at 9am ET. Yes it covers baseball. My take on what’s happening in MLB, insider perspective you won’t get anywhere else, and career stories I’ve never told publicly. But it’s more than that. Retirement. Family. Youth sports. The mental side of competing. Life lessons from someone who learned most of them the hard way. A little something for everyone. Link in bio to subscribe. It's free!

Forcing HS kids to go to college first would be an interesting move for MLB. It cuts costs of player development, most likely will eliminate more MILB affiliates as well. As someone drafted out of HS, I find this interesting. I think most HS kids would benefit from the maturity gained in college, but fans lose out on generational talent. No more 19/20 yr Kershaw, Trout, Machado, Harper, etc at the MLB level. Probably a lot of other impacts as well, need to dive deeper.

New Issue is out. Talking the draft, which is right around the corner. Check it out. Look forward to your questions and comments. thesavenewsletter.com

MLB is gearing up for what will likely be the most lucrative TV rights auction in its history following the 2028 season. How will that impact CBA negotiations? Are players being too shortsighted? I know MLB is playing the long game. I will cover this and all things baseball in my newsletter. thesavenewsletter.com

CBA talks starting to go public. Will be interesting to dive into what both sides propose publicly. So much happens behind closed doors though.
