stunning website 🤩 could use a less polarising person for social proof though; that tech “influencer” is a huge turn-off for too many potential users... 🤮
Great service, highly recommend!

a 0.1% deposit for a $82,000 Cybertruck? it was never about securing actual sales so what was it about? a) $200,000,000 in cashflow b) marketing stunt to inflate “order” numbers c) both d) something else
NEWS: Tesla confirms it has received over 2 million $100 deposits for the Cybertruck, according to Tesla Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen.

I've got two developers on my team. One is shipping at a speed he never thought possible. The other wants to know who the fuck approved this code... and unfortunately we share a keyboard.

WTF?? did X just rug-pull on the no-ads subscription feature? i pay the $200/month subscription and it’s suddenly ads like this everywhere a few weeks after the new head of product joining and now this??

Yes, several other Premium+/Ultra users posted similar complaints today and recently about still seeing ads (especially in replies). Current official FAQ: timelines stay fully ad-free; occasional ads remain possible in replies, Explore, and a few other spots. If the ads are appearing in your main For You/Following timeline, message Subscriptions with your plan details so they can check the account.

Intent is profoundly different to every harness i've tried (and thank god someone is doing something different) it might be too complex for me (a little indie artist trying to build some websites) but it sure is stunning and beautiful to use... intentapp.dev/
Intent has been my daily driver for over a year now (!) built around the belief that we should work in spaces, not chat threads we keep working on it for the sole reason that it's our favorite way to code. - free, open source, bring your own agents - run it anywhere (mac, windows, linux, any remote, super sleek mobile apps) - a superset of native agent capabilities by giving them some new primitives (custom hooks, browser tools, freeform notes, &c) - lots of features dedicated to making it easy to focus on an individual task, and also easy to multitask across 50+ workspaces (ask me how I know) plus lots of features I'm excited about coming up: - multiplayer is almost baked - easy access notch/dock - stay tuned for more :)

* im not if it's Intent's doing but something new has consumed about 40Gb of space on my Mac in the last few days (since i started testing Intent) i need to find out and delete it though cause my little Mac ain't big enough for an extra ~40g 🫣🤭

im a big fan and user of omp... which is why its so sad to see such dumb and thoughtless references used to promote it 💔 there are better ways to market the beautiful peaceful experience that ohmypi is than this... 😭

Im tired of infinite canvas startups. Im tired of generative video snake oil providers. Im tired of hype for hyperframes, as html and playwright is a dumb long term solution for video rendering. So I decided to build Raea. Open source. Free for everyone. Faster and more capable than hyperframes or remotion. (10-20x faster with real footage and complex scenes). And it renders without a browser…. Capable of more than just video. It’s built on @BevyEngine so it’s highly capable at producing 3D art, shaders and games. It’s also built on Blitz Dom @dioxuslabs , and a bridge between the page and the 3d world behind it allows you and your agent to write everything in typescript and react… without a browser. This video below was made entirely with Claude, Raea, and a weekend. I never had more fun playing and toying with creative work than I did making this. But to be honest, that’s not where I’m stopping. I want Raea to be an engine that correctly empowers creatives and agents, while not cognitively offloading the parts that make your work unique. I’m excited to continue working on this project as long as I can, and always open to feedback!

as a lover, supporter, user, and builder of PWA's it feels like Apple has recently killed the little hope i had left of PWA's becoming more mainstream with additional security overrides that every user/installer needs to now explicitly set/allow or have i got it wrong [again]?
PWAs can now do on-device speech recognition without a network. Check the demo, where you can download language packs for offline, on-device recognition. Supported in Chromium-based browsers and Firefox 160 (currently in beta). whatpwacando.today/speech-re…

By my math Grok Bot gives you about an hour for every $10 you pay. So the $30 plan gets you 3 hours of serious work at most, and the $200 plan won't even last you two and a half days of serious work. I think this is the weak spot that kills Grok Bot's growth.

Pretty sure Trump doesn't serve out his term. Now that he can be checked by the Dems, the knives will come out and the Republicans who let him trash the constitution will find a backbone to save themselves.
🚨🇺🇸 BREAKING: JD Vance says the Iran war cost Republicans the midterm elections! He just put out a long tweet about the thrashing Republicans took last night, and according to him, the problem wasn't that Republican voters stayed home. They actually showed up in strong numbers, but many who backed Trump and Vance in 2024 ended up voting for Democrats. Vance says his team had spotted something strange before the election. Turnout looked good, but one of his analysts warned that plenty of those voters were angry enough to switch sides. And a pollster later found out what was driving that anger. When former Trump voters were asked what would bring them back, four answers stood out: 1. End the war 2. Bring down inflation and living costs 3. Put America First 4. Change America's relationship with Israel That's a pretty striking list coming from voters who helped put Trump back in the White House just two years ago. Vance admitted Republicans could have done a better job talking about the economy, but he says the war was the real reason they lost. He even pointed out that Trump himself had said so. And he pushed back at Republicans offering immigration amnesty as the solution, warning that anyone selling that idea was lying. He also had a message for voters who had warned Republicans this would happen: "You're right, you did tell us so." Vance is openly acknowledging that many of Trump's own voters turned against Republicans over the war, inflation, and foreign policy. HUGE!!! Source: @JDVance / Writer: Daniyal
