I built this for myself and I think it’s quite handy.
For complex blocks (especially full stack blocks where there are 10+ files) I found it tedious to go through each file and copy and paste each piece of critical logic.
I’m typically referencing ai patterns in large codebases where you don’t need all of the ui related components and I need to skill up cursor and Claude code quickly with some niche logic that a pattern covers.
This is where copy critical files comes in.
You can now consume ai blocks by:
1. Opening in v0
2. Installing with the @shadcn cli
3. Downloading as a nextjs app
4. Copy critical files
