Personally, I think if you're going to do capital punishment for it to be just the victims should be allowed to administer it. Maybe, have some guard rails so you don't have drawing and quartering as the means of execution, but you let them flip the switch.

In all seriousness this will probably cause problems for Linux gamers or anyone with advanced setups using hardware in non-traditional ways. Most of this is not hacking games. You have a lot of memory on current hardware you can repurpose.
