Surfboards, wakeboards, and kiteboards no longer incur oversized bag fees on @united if you’re traveling to/from California! Took me 30mins to convince #SFO ground staff but they looked it up and conceded. xitter.cf/united/status/10478876…
As California’s global airline, we knew what we had to do when surfing was named the state sport: waive the service fees for surfboards, on all flights, to or from California. #Stoked 🏄♀️🏄🤙

After a LOT of adjustments to my plan due to @avianca’s cancelled flight, I finally did make it to #machupicchu. And @AviancaEscucha upgraded me to biz class, so I’m flying back to Lima in comfort. Thanks, Peru, for a great visit! 🇵🇪 – at Machupicchu, Peru
The gall of @Avianca to imagine that a $30 credit makes up for the ~$400 in tours, hotels, train tickets, and Machu Picchu entry passes that their cancelled flight will cost me. #UnforgettableExperience
My Machu Picchu entry pass, train tickets, and accommodation were all timed for when and where the trek ends. It’s a mess.
So, @avianca offering $30 of credit on an airline I hope to never have to fly again, in exchange for my absolving them of any further responsibility? That is just absurd. What a sorry excuse for a @staralliance carrier. @TripAdvisor
