funny watching this scene turn into pure ego theater 😂 one guy says he is leaving the scene then comes back acting like a bug belongs to him because he supposedly had it privately and the other one rushes to attach his name to it like credit is inherited bro if somebody else independently found the bug reported it and took the responsibility then the report is theirs sitting on a bug in private does not magically give you ownership forever and crying about LLMs makes it even funnier because the same tools you call slop helped people reach something you were still sitting on maybe the problem was never the LLM maybe it just exposed how fragile some egos are and the GTA 6 excuse is hilarious too after all the talk about helping the community now suddenly everyone has to wait for one game before research can move forward if you want to dump games for yourself every day thats your choice but dont wrap it in some heroic speech about saving the scene and to the people assigning credit on behalf of others stop rewriting history because somebody has a bigger name the person who actually reported the bug deserves the credit for that report simple as that leave the drama retire if you want stay if you want but dont change the story after the fact LLM didnt ruin the scene it just made it harder to hide behind reputation
