Always a great time connecting with communities about rail safety!

Twenty-five years later, we join our country to pause and remember the fallen, the heroism of our first responders, military and communities, and reflect on the enduring spirit of our grateful nation. We will never forget.

Thank you to Capt. Beau Hufstetler and the leadership team at NAS JRB Fort Worth for the invitation to attend Quarters today. I am grateful for the partnership and teamwork between the base, U.S. Navy Police, NCIS, and our police team. It was especially meaningful to have the U.S. Navy Police Team sharing the stage as they do incredible work protecting our military base and its personnel. Shout out to SECO ENS Director Christina Hurley, Deputy Security Director Jose "Al" Pacheco, and NCIS SSA Craig Shattuck along with Public Affairs Officer Sandy Owens for the amazing partnership and collaboration over the years. As I transition to my new role as Special Agent in Charge with the BNSF Railway Police Department, I was honored to receive this plaque and letter of appreciation. It was inspiring to watch this leadership team take care of their people while recognizing outstanding Sailors and civilians for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence. This plaque will proudly hang in my new SAC office at BNSF Police. Fair Winds and Following Seas.

Honored to attend the Change of Command Ceremony at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam this morning with my wife while visiting Oahu. Special thanks to Jose "Joe" Ramirez, Deputy Defense Force Commander for Joint Base Pearl Harbor and former SECO at NAS JRB Fort Worth, for the invite. I have been to several of these ceremonies as the police chief in our military community, but this one was very special. The ceremony was hosted on the historic deck of the USS Missouri (BB-63 known as the "Mighty Mo"). As many of you know, the Battleship Missouri hosted the formal surrender of Japan in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945, formally ending WWII. Congratulations on a well-deserved retirement of the outgoing Commander, CAPT. Samuel S. White, US NAVY. Also, congratulations to the incoming Commander, CAPT. John T. Frye who will be taking over the joint base installation. God bless the USA and our Armed Forces as they continue to serve and defend freedom! Aerial photo credit: MC1 Ryan LeCompte

Good Saturday morning from @WSPDTX and @WESTCOMMTX! It's a bit cooler with a little rain moving through. Have a great weekend! Great capture by Aviation Photographer and Author @DanMcClinton1 on an F-35B on a recent test flight this past week. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Congratulations to our good friend Chelsea Kretz, now Chelsea Howell, on her marriage to Jason. All of your North Texas PIO/police friends and news media are happy for you and Jason! May God bless you and your family in all the years to come!

I have had the fortunate opportunity to do a lot of fun things during my career, but this morning was really cool. I was invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch to kick off the spring 2026 sports season. What really made this special is the fact that growing up in town, I played seven seasons myself on these same ballfields in the 1970s and early 80s. I was flooded with great memories of years gone by, coupled with the heartfelt satisfaction that these kiddos are also building their future memories through sports. I wasn't sure I could throw a strike or not, but this kiddo who served as an amazing catcher was given a promise from me... if he could just keep the pitch from hitting the backstop, I had a neat challenge coin for him when this thing was over... lol... Well, luck was on my side (and his side too) because the pitch went right down the middle and into his glove. Thank you to Emit Salvidrez, President of the White Settlement Youth Association for the invite! We also had a great parade leading up to the opening ceremony this morning. Thanks to our volunteer Citizens on Patrol group, our @WSPDTX police officers, and our Mayor Faron Young along with City Council and my boss, Jeffrey James for attending and supporting today's event.

Wishing our family, friends, colleagues, and community a Happy Easter! Christ is Risen!
