not gonna spread rumors but I won’t be surprised if it turns out the ao3 knockoff site, that monetizes fanfics without writers’ knowledge, is behind ao3 security attack. according to some writers, the site has fics that were deleted 10 years ago and fics that are in their DRAFTS

I’m genuinely tweaking rn Fanfic authors, please be aware there is a website 👉 ao3.life that is scraping fics from Ao3 and turning them into Ai audiobooks and selling them for profit They have an option to have your fics taken down but from what I’m seeing you have to provide personal info to “prove” the fanfics are yours to begin with (giving, phishing scam) and they claim they pay the authors, which is both untrue and ILLEGAL Nearly all my fanfics are on here I’m genuinely shaking I’m so pissed like what the FUCK is wrong with people 😭😭😭
