With all of the (deserved) talk on Jack Gohlke’s shot distribution this year, less we forget about the man before Gohlke — Oakland’s Max Hooper (‘14-‘16).
468 3PT attempts to just 11 2PT ones. He never attempted a shot within 18 feet of the hoop.

Absolutely ridiculous that the #MNTwins couldn’t come up with this kind of cash to provide some stability to the now iffy pitching depth in the organization. Amateur hour ownership.

There have been over 300,000 games across the NBA, WNBA & Division I (men/women) in the last 25 seasons.
In only one of those did a team score 95+ points, shoot 70% or better from three & have 5 or fewer turnovers.
That team was the Minnesota Gopher men today. They still lost.

Minnesota scored 1.48 points per possession tonight at Illinois…and lost.
Entering tonight, the record posted over the last 15 seasons by teams scoring that many points per possession in Division I games:
310-1 (.997)

Feel like I missed the exact inflection point when some of the most prominent CBB media voices decided they wanted to go to war with....college basketball fans.
Calling fans whiny and soft, suggesting arrest & throwing them in jail. Without fans, college hoops isn't thriving. Without college hoops thriving, those folks don't have jobs.
What are we even doing here?

Ben Johnson convincing Cam Christie to choose Minnesota over Michigan State, despite his brother going there AND making it to the NBA from there, is not talked about enough. #gophers
