Can we agree that Business Central is the biggest piece of shit software ever created? What would be a worse way to edit some cells on a table? I can’t think of any.
The problem comes down to how many dollars per camera l-hour to make it viable. I’ve tried using yolo, rf-detr, even cheap vlm to do surveillance camera monitoring. The only cost effective way seems to be model on edge device. But you’d have to use it for years to break even. So this space is still hard to disrupt.
My wife asked me to check out this app called Life360, it has some paid subscriptions for some feature, so I was thinking, why not just build it myself, data stays on my own server

Revamped teanode.com to reflect the recent changes. It's crazy to think about writing your own expense tracker, fetching transactions from your bank accounts, just a couple years ago. Now, anything is possible and it's only going to get easier.
