I think the big problem with the Islanders forward lineup right now is that they have a LOT of middle six players, with some that might deserve 1st line....but almost nobody that I think can excel in a 4th line role.

Eiserman, Eklund, Cal Ritchie, Danny Nelson, (even Holmstrom and Heineman)....there could be a lot of forwards that might blossom soon

Danny Nelson seems to be a level above the competition tonight at the Islanders prospect scrimmage. The #Isles have something there.

The #Isles add depth RHD Matt Kessel on a 1-year $850 k contract. Kessel, 26, appeared in 29 games for the Blues this year, putting up 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) with an ATOI of 12:32

#Isles Darche has already completed the 2 necessities on the list for today. 1) 3rd goalie 2) NHL caliber LW to fill in Lee's departure (will need the group of new prospects to make up more goals)

Here are some third-string UFA goalies that make sense for #Isles: Louis Domingue, Cal Petersen, Hunter Shepard, and Phoenix Copley.

I have signed into twitter for the first time in a Long Time because of UFA day. Not expecting much for Islanders, but thought I would jump in. Say hi to me quick if you want to connect. :)
