More updates released today regarding $41.7 million
@USNavy/@USNavyResearch contract:
• Multi-megawatt (2 MW & 3 MW) #KARNO power systems
• Repeat funding after the initial $16M award
• Delivery to "NAVSEA Philadelphia", home to the Navy's engineering expertise in ship power and propulsion
It is a strong vote of confidence from one of the world's most demanding customers.
If @Hyliion executes, this could be a major step toward validating KARNO at scale.

Same KARNO™ tech but at a larger scale.
@Hyliion just demonstrated two KARNO Power Modules operating as one system. Meaning the KARNO units automatically balanced electrical load between them while maintaining power output.
This is how we transform the KARNO system from a single 200 kW module to multi-MW power plants.

@Pelicanwayre @JF_LLP @Hyliion @hyliionaire @ThomasHealyCEO - As a large shareholder and therefore part owner of HYLN (Hyliion Holdings), I find troubling the low IQ law firm attempt to scam good people. It should be illegal and perhaps there should be a countersuit for damages.

Why is KARNO based on the Stirling engine?
Because it uses one of the best thermodynamic cycles.
The Stirling engine was invented nearly 200 years ago, and even then, it was recognized as an incredibly efficient way to produce power.
The challenge?
For 200 years, it’s been extremely difficult to actually build and commercialize.
That’s where additive manufacturing changes the equation.
By using 3D printing, we’re able to bring this technology to life in a way that wasn’t possible before, unlocking a highly efficient way to produce electricity.
So how does the KARNO work?
KARNO is based on Stirling engine technology, a concept invented nearly 200 years ago.
The idea is simple: You have a trapped gas, you heat it up, and it expands.
Think of a balloon. If you apply heat to it, it grows. Cool it down quickly, and it shrinks.
That expansion and contraction is what we use to move a piston.
And that motion is what enables KARNO to produce electricity. @Hyliion

Honored to visit the Royal Military Academy @RMASandhurst and meet with Major General Nick Cowley.
Thank you for the opportunity to discuss leadership, energy security, and the growing role of reliable power in modern military operations. As defense systems become increasingly dependent on electrification, communications, radar, autonomous platforms, and computing, access to resilient on-demand power is more important than ever.
I appreciated the chance to share our @Hyliion vision for the future of power generation and how innovative energy solutions can help support mission readiness in the years ahead.
How do you build for resilience when grid reliability is declining, costs are climbing, and every project carries more complexity than the last? What does "resilient power" actually look like in a moment of unprecedented demand on the grid?
Join Hyliion's Jake Rudesill with panelists from Siemens and McAllister CAT for an in-depth discussion on Tuesday, 6/09 as part of the Xendee University Week 2026 virtual event.
