it's today i find out vlc runs http requests on the main thread and doesn't support cancellation... `player.stop()` waits for http requests to complete before retuning, which can take 30+s

btw I don't talk about it frequently but I'm still working hard on kyoo, next release will have chromecast and android clients ready (currently fixing vlc issues on the android client)

It's worth paying for Netflix just to avoid using the Plex app. I have no idea when it got so bad but it is SO bad now. Resisting the urge to make a slop clone. I'm pretty sure I could make something better in under 5 prompts.

Ilha 0.4: The launch of Remix 3 beta inspired me to improve the .effect() and .on() in Ilha. Now, you can access the signal in the handler by adding the ':abortable' modifier. When the same listener fires again on the same target, the previous invocation's signal is aborted.
