“Deathstroke would be the main villain dismantling Batman's life after thinking he killed his son” So a teen titans movie This is literally Deathstrokes whole beef with the titans Kills me when people try and larp by saying he’s a Batman villain and then you see shit like this 😭

Plot details on Ben Affleck's cancelled ‘BATMAN’ film have been revealed: • Deathstroke would be the main villain, dismantling Batman's life after thinking he killed his son • Deathstroke would have killed Gordon & taken Alfred hostage • Batgirl appeared, almost getting killed with Batman in one sequence • The film's finale had a major showdown between Batman & Deathstroke inspired by a CGI fight sequence from ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’ (Source: ew.com/joe-manganiello-ben-a…)

“The film's finale had a major showdown between Batman & Deathstroke inspired by a CGI fight sequence from ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’“ - Adapting an adaptation cuz there’s no dynamic to adapt from comics 😭😭✌🏿

I mean unless this series is about the nova corps with Richard rider and Sam Alexander, set in rural Oklahoma where they have to share a helmet and just disrespects the source material, I doubt it’s gonna be “Marvel’s Lanterns”
Green Arrow@MASTER_1_CHIEFOct 8
this is gonna be Marvel's lanterns and everyone who hated lanterns will glaze it.

Wacker says Peach has more story to tell. A Maestorm series coming! Peach - Maestorm is back, but maybe not in the universe she comes from. #XMen #MarvelComics #NYCC #NYCC2026 @peachmomoko60

Crazy how this proves that people aren’t upset about lanterns not being 1:1 but rather just an adaptation with questionable writing choices that disrespects the source material
Wilson Bolshevik@loveintopainOct 6
What makes me laugh the most is that The Penguin strays away from the “source material” more than Lanterns but I wasn’t hearing complains and moans then

53
Also the concept of a grounded penguin show being more different than the source material than a green lanterns show that doesn’t use constructs, changes Johns whole backstory/origin and Hal relationships is laughable tbh
5
Kinda confused why some people are switching up on Lanterns. The blatant disrespect of Hal and the source material, along with very questionable narrative choices were present from ep 1

Lanterns was just a hal Jordan humiliation ritual but Adaptioncels are still running around saying “They’re setting up parallax for season 2” like I’m good I never wanna see this shit again 😭✌🏿

A live-action ‘CLONE SAGA’ TV series is in the works, based on the Spider-Man comics. The series reportedly follows Ben Reilly & Kaine Parker as they grapple with their newly discovered identities as clones while also facing other clones. (Source: Deadline)

Ignoring the fact that you somehow don’t know that the new 52 was and still is widely hated, the fact that you compared New52 (reboot), All-in (publishing initiative) and Absolute (new imprint) as if they were all the same, shows how much you acc know about comics
from liebert’s 20s ✈️@NAN4MINCULTSep 28
you comic purist are a bunch of whiners and hypocrites, the comics had rewritten their characters’ stories and origins every once in awhile, like did you actually get this mad at DC when they started Post-Crisis, New52, Rebirth, All-In, Absolute???

Vegeta (Clark) ⚫@VegetaIVSep 23
John Stewart, Kyle Rayner, and Guy Gardner got #blitzed in the worst ways in Injustice. Don't let anybody tell you Hal Jordan's little death arc in Lanterns ain't happen to his contemporaries in other major adaptations.
