Today at the AI for India Summit 2026, we launched the AI Diffusion Matrix Report and AI Diffusion Assessment Tool, developed in consultation with NITI Aayog. The Matrix looks beyond pilots and isolated use cases to ask a bigger question: how deeply is AI actually spreading across an organisation? It examines progress across strategy, people, processes, data, technology and governance, helping organisations identify where AI adoption is moving forward and where it is getting stuck. The accompanying AI Diffusion Assessment Tool turns this framework into action. In a few minutes, organisations can assess where they stand, identify gaps and find clear priorities for moving towards deeper, more sustained AI diffusion. We hope these resources can help organisations, governments, industries, states and countries move from AI experimentation to meaningful, measurable outcomes.
