went to visit a friend who’s a ceramicist and works in a studio with no phone signal in a tiny yorkshire village. he doesn’t listen to podcasts or music, only occasionally uses the radio, and when I asked him what he thinks about all day he just said “well, pots mostly”

Mary has spent her life in a colorless room, learning everything there is to know about colour. at the end of her life she finally steps outside and sees red for the first time "wait, THAT's red??" says Mary "it looks exactly like A-flat"

We should maximize the amount of proof we can get out of AI while the money cannon is on. It's like early days of Uber, except the benefits are 100x more tangible. A fully-verified hw+sw stack? That's like gold everyone can share w/out having to divide. Generational opportunity.

i want a "hide prices" button when browsing NFT art. let me figure out what i like before the floor price gets involved.

i want more onchain stuff that makes me go 'why would anyone build this' followed immediately by 'where's the link'

Collectors should collect the art they like, and we artists must continue creating what makes us feel free.

I was at a high school speech and debate competition today, and once again I was reminded that much of the world would vanish if people weren’t actively volunteering time and effort to make stuff happen.

i want more NFT roadmaps that just say 'make more cool art.' that's a perfectly good plan.

please tell me what you sell before telling me you're redefining the future.
A client gave us the clearest success metric I've heard all year: "It takes two seconds to realize we do purchasing for distributors." Not a conversion rate. Two seconds, and the buyer knows exactly what you do. Most hard tech homepages fail that before the hero finishes loading.

Snake, except biting your own tail is now the sensible option.
Fuse Snake: you’re a bomb, and your fuse is lit 🔥 Eat to grow it back. Bite your own tail to cut off the burning end. Chain the cuts for an insane score multiplier! Free in your browser: aneesh-joshi.itch.io/fuse-sn… My third game! #gamedev #screenshotsaturday #indiedev #godot

The goal has never been to make Web3 successful. The goal has always been to upgrade finance, leveraging crypto primitives and tools. In my line of work, software makes up 20% of what gets built. The rest is political, social, economic.

I truly believe that you have to create your own little world and do whatever it is that keeps tugging at you If you let yourself build your own Wonderland (or whatever you want to call this world that is just yours) there will be people who vibe with your vision and your art
Something is wrong when collectors shape the space more than artists.

GM everyone! After a day of processing and taking it all in, I could finally sit and write everything there is to say about my exhibition. Living Memories has been six years in the making Six years of traveling across Japan Six years of creating individual pieces, and building an archive of moments. When I first moved to Japan, everything felt unfamiliar, as if I were living inside a movie. From the moment we (my wife and I) created our first piece, I dreamed of building a space where others could step into that feeling. Seeing familiar faces, people who have known me since that first piece in 2021, experience this evolution filled me with joy and nostalgia. These six years have been about more than creating art, they’ve also been about building unforgettable friendships. I want to thank from the bottom of my heart, everyone who experienced "Living Memories" and helped bring these crazy ideas to life. @adamilenich, your kindness and commitment to putting artists first have helped make this dream possible. I can’t thank you enough for everything you continue to do for me and the studio. @lisac8tlin & @museumartlight, thank you for everything over the past two months. You helped make one of my dreams come true. An exhibition like this requires the right space, equipment, pieces, and people. @sbmckeon, thank you for opening your beautiful gallery to us and allowing Living Memories to be its first exhibition. At first, I was nervous, wondering whether anyone would come. Then, little by little, friends began to arrive. Sitting on the couch alongside @Dannyb0yyy_, @ArtOnBlockchain @AdamWeitsman @redbeardnft @eli_schein @nullinger @RogerDickerman @MaryPatBing @NedRyersonBing @TheMiamiApe @Daimon444 @punk8164 @tonyherrera @bryanbrinkman @OmarZRobles @WAPSHOP_ETH @musicalnetta @dutchtide @SuperchiefNFT @jared_poz and so many more, telling them our wild stories and watching their reactions while hearing what the work made them feel, filled my heart. I wish I could remember every beautiful thing people shared with me. Thank you to the Museum of Art and Light for everything, from logistics to projection mapping, and, above all, for your friendship. You felt like family. This is only a glimpse of what we’ll create together. Despite the drama and speculation surrounding the timeline, gatherings like Art Blocks Marfa remind me why I’m here. Thank you to @artblocks_io and @opensea for supporting artists and creating spaces where we can share our passion. Sharing the process behind each piece meant so much to me. In an era of artificial intelligence, I wanted people to feel the time, care, and human experience woven into this work. Watching the pieces brought back memories of journeys with my wife: scouting locations, carrying equipment, filming through snow and typhoons, and experiencing everything that unfolded along the way. Living Memories is our journal, a record of two free spirits trying to create, explore, and live fully together. I hope it becomes part of our legacy and awakens a sense of wonder in others. Life is made of moments, and those moments become memories. Thank you all for being part of ours. CHECK ALL THE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS BELOW 🔽

With all due respect, I have to disagree. We don’t all create under the same circumstances. Have you ever spent years creating art alone in a room, day after day? Have you ever faced barriers to exhibiting your work — 1/4

As someone who has been a full time artist since 1999. NFTs aren’t the way forward

The way I want to build community is by setting the tone, showing respect and highlighting those who join. I can lay a foundation, give people room to bring their own strengths, and work hard to make it feel like home.

A useful check for a bug fix: does the regression test fail on the old code and pass with the patch? If it passes both, it may be testing the setup rather than the bug. For coding agents, that distinction belongs in the evidence for completion.
