Still out on a limb with Matthew 5:43-48 and Luke 6:27-36 This is my position needing Matthew 9:11-13 Dedicated anti schismatic. Ecclesiasticus 38:4 it’s truth.

Around this time of year, 6 years ago, my mom was finally able to have the mastectomy that was delayed by Fauci’s idiotic lockdowns. At the time, we felt so relieved that she could finally get treatment. Unfortunately, the delayed surgery allowed her cancer to spread to her lungs and we learned soon after that it had become metastatic / terminal. So many times over the last six years I clung to the idea that she would defy all odds and beat the devastating diagnosis we were faced with. And so many times, she did. Until it took her away from me this year. Just 3 weeks before my son was born. Just one month after she turned 56 years old. Too soon for all of us. It is hard not to be so angry. It is hard not to feel cheated. It is especially hard to know that all of the circumstances that led to her death could probably have been prevented if not for the most moronic public health decisions of this century crashing down on all of us. I think about that every day.

People who have never lived through a catastrophe love to ask why America spends billions of dollars building giant nuclear aircraft carriers. Tell them to ask the mothers of Banda Aceh, Indonesia what they saw on the ocean horizon in January 2005. When the Indian Ocean tsunami killed more than two hundred thousand people, the entire coast of Sumatra was erased. Every bridge, road, and water pipe was gone. Tens of thousands of children were dying of thirst in the mud, and no truck on earth could reach them. Two thousand miles away in Hong Kong, the U.S. aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln was on holiday port call. Within hours of the news, young American sailors walked out of restaurants and hotels, left their vacation behind, ran back up the gangway, and pushed the ship's two nuclear reactors to flank speed. When the Abraham Lincoln dropped anchor off the shattered coast of Aceh, it did not launch a single fighter jet. Instead, the American sailors turned their nuclear warship into the largest floating water factory on earth. Using the ship's four massive steam distillation plants, the crew purified nearly 100,000 gallons of fresh drinking water from the sea every single day. For weeks without sleep, young sailors stood on the hangar deck filling five-gallon plastic jugs by hand, while seventeen Seahawk helicopters flew nonstop from sunrise to sunset. They flew more than 1,500 missions into jungle clearings, delivering over 400,000 gallons of pure water and nearly six million pounds of food and medicine to people of a different faith who had been taught for years to fear the United States. America did not ask for one barrel of oil or one dollar in return. When the local hospitals were running again, the giant gray ship quietly raised its anchor and sailed away. A small mind looks at an American aircraft carrier and sees only a weapon. A survivor looks at that flat gray deck and sees five thousand young Americans bringing water from the sea.

I work in healthcare and was trying to help a black patient for over an hr who was a prominent member in his Nation of Islam community who was like a broken record saying "white people are the devil", "the Jews did it", white people rape, maim, murder and rob" and on and on. It was practically every other sentence. The hate in his heart was mind boggling. I'm mixed race but don't look like it. He felt the freedom to just go off. Made me sick to my stomach listen to him but I treated him with the same care as I treat everyone else. Thank you for your integrity, ethics and reporting that nurse.

What happened to the PATIENTS?
WHAT IF ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISTAKES IN MODERN PAIN MEDICINE IS CONFUSING FEWER PRESCRIPTIONS WITH BETTER PATIENT OUTCOMES? Think about that for a moment. 👉A physician reduces a patient’s long-term opioid prescription. 👉An institution reports declining opioid utilization. 👉An insurer celebrates reduced exposure. 👉A healthcare system points to fewer prescriptions as evidence of responsible prescribing. But here’s the question nobody should be allowed to skip: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PATIENT? Did their pain improve? Did their physical functioning improve? Did they return to work? Sleep better? Regain independence? Experience fewer hospitalizations? Or did the prescription simply disappear while the suffering remained? Because reducing a number on a spreadsheet is not the same thing as improving a human life. And here’s where the conversation becomes uncomfortable. Full agonist opioids carry serious risks. Nobody should pretend otherwise. But the existence of those risks does not establish that removing an effective medication from every long-term patient produces a better outcome. • Some patients benefit. • Some don’t. • Some experience substantial harm, including addiction. • Others experience meaningful improvements in function and quality of life through responsible, medically supervised use. That complexity is precisely why individualized medicine exists. Yet prescription reduction is measurable, reportable, and institutionally convenient. A patient’s deteriorating quality of life is much easier to overlook. So here’s my challenge to the healthcare establishment: If you’re going to celebrate fewer opioid prescriptions, show us what happened to the people whose prescriptions were reduced or discontinued. Show us their pain outcomes. Show us their functional outcomes. Show us their mental health outcomes. Show us whether they actually became healthier. And show us the patients who deteriorated, too. Because a policy cannot be judged solely by the medication it removes. It must also be judged by the consequences it leaves behind. If the prescription count goes down but the patient’s suffering goes up, what exactly are we celebrating? Chronic pain patients are not statistical inconveniences. We are human beings. And we deserve something far more meaningful than a healthcare system congratulating itself for prescribing less. WE DESERVE PROOF THAT OUR LIVES ARE GETTING BETTER.

Protesters have forced their way into the Colosseum in Rome today. The optics of this are terrible. Rome was once the heart of one of the most powerful empires in history. Its Colosseum has stood for nearly 2,000 years. Now we're watching protesters force their way past security at one of Europe's most iconic historical landmarks. Unless this lawlessness is stamped out quickly, we risk losing the culture, heritage and history that make Europe what it is. Enough is enough.

Protesters draped in Palestinian flags storm the Colosseum. And so let's write it: with Giorgia Meloni, after 1,946 years, they managed to storm the Colosseum. Something never achieved before. The world is laughing at us.

All true. I still think about a young lady with a BS degree, who admitted after 12 years of school+4yrs of college, got her dream job, just to realize she could not spell anything. Having apps like (spell check) then AI, she just coasted through school. Now taking Grammer online.

Youngkin lowered costs. Youngkin returned money to Virginians. Youngkin made life more affordable. Democrats make everything more expensive - just look at what Abigail has done already. Vote RED.
We need a Democratic Congress so we can lower costs, end Trump’s tariffs and this disastrous war in Iran, put real guardrails on AI, and put checks on the corruption coming from this administration. Let’s turn out in record numbers for Virginia Democrats! IWillVote.com

Currently in Georgia to celebrate my grandparents’ 70th wedding anniversary. Surrounded by family and love. It’s been a great day. Got a bunch of content coming next week, but for today, it’s all about celebrating my grandparents. Life is grand.

Right?
Can we just go back in time when marrying your brother, strangling your children, and trying to un-alive political opponents were all bad things?

I agree, but as I watched England, Ireland, Germany, France etc. Struggle with the results of the mass immigration ( invasion) of their nation, I realized it was happening here, even after Trump closed the southern border, the people he said "really did not like us" are here!!

"Scenario planning is not a plot, it's just good common sense." *************************** When your "scenario planning" includes coordinating with Democrat governors to declare the President "illegitimate" while those same governors claim sovereignty over America for themselves, while also coordinating with foreign powers for recognition, that sure as hell IS a "plot," you seditionist morons. No amount of pretending otherwise changes that cold, hard reality.

Gabapentin being prescribed 'like candy.' Isn't this triggering 'red flags' for the authorities looking for 'overprescribing'? (or is that only for bona fide pain medications that actually relieve pain). Are these gabapentin prescribers running 'pill mills'?
Over 60 million gabapentin prescriptions were dispensed in 2024 Gabapentin is linked to dementia, weight gain, blurry vision Lawsuits are being filed against manufacturers of gabapentin (such as Neurontin) and pregabalin (Lyrica) alleging that prolonged, off-label use increases the risk of early-onset dementia and mild cognitive impairment without adequate safety warnings
