BREAKING: DEMOCRAT RASKIN VOWS PRIVATE GUN SALE BACKGROUND CHECKS & NATIONAL GUNNREGISTRY AS TOP JUDICIARY PRIORITY IN NEW DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS
Incoming House Judiciary Committee Chair Jamie Raskin (D-MD) Stated In An Election Day Interview That His Priorities Would Include Legislation Requiring Background Checks On Private Gun Sales, Not Just Purchases From Licensed Dealers, According To Reporting From The Baltimore Banner.
Raskin, Expected To Assume The Gavel In January After Democrats Secured Control Of Both Chambers In The 2026 Midterms, Framed The Measure As An Effort To “Close Gun-Sale Loopholes.” Republicans Have Long Argued Such Bills Impose Unnecessary Restrictions On Hobbyists & Individuals Transferring Firearms To Friends Or From Personal Collections.
Gun Rights Organizations, Including The National Association For Gun Rights, Immediately Characterized The Proposal As A Step Toward Universal Gun Registration, Warning That Mandatory Checks On Private Transfers Would Generate Permanent Federal Records Of Lawful Firearm Owners & Their Firearms.
Existing Federal Law, Including The Firearms Owners’ Protection Act, Explicitly Prohibits The Establishment Of A National Firearms Registry. Critics Note That Expanding Background Check Requirements To All Private Sales Would Require Documentation Of Those Transactions, Effectively Creating A De Facto Record-Keeping System.
Raskin Also Identified Increased Scrutiny Of Antitrust Settlements & Possible Additional Impeachment Proceedings Against President Trump As Other Priorities For The Committee. The Comments Emerged Less Than 36 Hours After Election Night, While Democratic Leaders Simultaneously Emphasized Affordability & Cost-Of-Living Issues In Post-Election Messaging.
The Proposal Aligns With Longstanding Democratic Gun Control Efforts & With Existing Legislation Such As H.R. 9548, The Blair Holt Firearm Owner Licensing & Record Of Sale Act, Which Would Establish Licensing Requirements & A Federal Record-Of-Sale System While Seeking To Repeal Current Statutory Barriers To Registration.
Gun Owners & Second Amendment Advocates View The Agenda As Confirmation That Expanded Background Checks Function As The Precursor To Broader Restrictions, Regardless Of Campaign Emphasis On Other Domestic Issues.

🚨 WARNING: Democrats are now just 48 electoral votes away from GUTTING the Electoral College without a constitutional amendment.
The National Popular Vote Compact already has 18 states plus D.C., which adds up to 222 electoral votes.
On Tuesday, Democrats took full control of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Nevada.
That's 61 more votes. If all five sign on in 2027, the Compact hits 283.
Your state's vote could go to whoever wins CALIFORNIA and NEW YORK.
The Founders built the Electoral College for a reason. Democrats want to work around it.

BREAKING: DHS confirms to @FoxNews that a suspect arrested by US Secret Service last night in a stolen vehicle near the White House with a rifle, two handguns, and ammo is a Venezuelan illegal alien who threatened to kill President Trump and was previously caught and released at the Texas border in 2024 by the Biden administration.
Per DHS, last night, Secret Service agents saw a man acting suspiciously in a vehicle on Constitution Ave. near the White House. When agents approached it, the suspect, Ronny Yordrix Guanipa Chrinos, told them he was hearing voices in his head telling him to come to DC to kill President Trump. A search of the car revealed he had an AR-15 style rifle, a Mac 10, a Glock-43x, and ammo. The car was also stolen.
He was arrested and charged with carrying a rifle outside of a home or business, three counts of unlawful transportation of a firearm, three counts of unregistered firearms, three counts of unregistered ammunition, possession of certain dangerous weapons, carrying a pistol without a license, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft, and receiving stolen property.
ICE has placed a detainer on him with US Marshals, who currently have him in custody. DHS says he crossed the TX border illegally in March 2024 and was released into the country by the Biden admin.
DHS Sec. Mullin is praising the Secret Service agents:
“Thanks to our brave Secret Service officers, this illegal alien with three firearms in his vehicle was arrested near the White House before he could harm anyone,” said Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin. “On top of threatening President Trump, he is an illegal alien from Venezuela who had no business being in our country in the first place. This is just an example of the incredible work done by the men and women of the Secret Service every single day."

AFTER DEMOCRATS SWEEP OF TEXAS ELECTIONS HOUSTON MAYOR’S ANNOUNCES NEW ICE ORDERS THAT APPEARS TO VIOLATE TEXAS LAW BANNING SANCTUARY CITY POLICIES!
Houston Mayor John Whitmire Issued An Executive Order Directing The Houston Police Department To Restrict When Officers Contact U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement. Under The Directive, Hpd Will Notify Ice Only When A Person Is Arrested On A Jailable Offense & Also Holds An Administrative Ice Warrant. Officers May No Longer Contact Ice Solely Because An Administrative Warrant Appears During A Routine Encounter That Does Not Result In Arrest, Including A Traffic Stop Resolved By Citation.
The Two-Page Order Provides: “The Fact That A Person Is, Or Is Suspected To Be, Subject To Immigration Enforcement Shall Not, By Itself, Be A Basis To Contact Ice, To Prolong Any Detention, Or To Take Any Person Into Or Hold Any Person In Custody.” Mayor Whitmire Stated He Acted “To Begin A Healing Process & Reduce Fear & Anxiety Across Our Community” & Emphasized That “Elections Matter” After Democrats Secured Statewide Offices.
Texas Government Code § 752.053, Adopted In The 2017 Sanctuary Cities Ban, States That A Local Entity May Not “Adopt, Enforce, Or Endorse A Policy Under Which The Entity Or Department Prohibits Or Materially Limits The Enforcement Of Immigration Laws.” The Same Provision Bars Cities From Prohibiting Or Materially Limiting Peace Officers From “Assisting Or Cooperating With A Federal Immigration Officer As Reasonable Or Necessary, Including Providing Enforcement Assistance,” Or From Sending, Receiving, Or Exchanging Immigration Status Information With Ice.
The Executive Order Creates A Formal Policy That Prohibits Officers From Contacting Ice & Communicating Information About Administrative Warrants In Non-Jailable Situations. This Restriction Appears To Materially Limit The Cooperation & Information-Sharing That State Law Protects. Comparable Limitations Proposed Earlier In 2026 Were Withdrawn After State Officials Threatened To Withhold Public Safety Grants. The Current Order Revives That Approach While The Existing Statutory Framework Remains In Force.

While everyone in Minnesota is still talking about the statewide races, look at who just flipped House District 14A in St. Cloud by 593 votes...
Abdi Daisane (DFL) won 9,163 to 8,570.
He owns Blooming Kids Child Care Center, which has collected over $7.29 Million in Taxpayer CCAP childcare subsidies since 2018,(plus another ~$598k in food program claims through Partners in Nutrition)
And the State has hit it with 16 DHS licensing violations since July 2024...unsupervised kids, infant sleep safety failures, prohibited discipline, unclean space, and a background study fine.
To be clear,(no criminal charges against him)...this is all LEGAL subsidy money and the State's own inspection reports.
Now he heads to St. Paul to vote on the budgets and oversight rules for the EXACT system paying his business.
What are we even doing here?

If you’re right wing and you can’t admit liberals (not communists) are way better at art and design and boutique coffee shops and restaurants, you’re not living in reality.
If you’re left wing and you can’t admit conservatives are way better at running cities and businesses and police departments, you’re not living in reality.
You step inside a beautiful coffee shop in the PNW and think “man, these liberals are great at this stuff…conservatives should take notes.” Then the moment you step outside and trip over a homeless drug zombie shooting up fentanyl on the sidewalk, you think “man these liberals are terrible at this stuff…they should really take notes from conservatives”
Communists make disgusting anti-beauty art, but classical liberals aren’t like that. Put the libs in charge of the coffee shops, put the conservatives in charge of city hall. This is how you get a city that is beautiful, clean, and functional.
If you can’t accept that, you need to check your tribalism. We are never getting rid of each other, so figure out how we strike a balance or else the communists swoop in and take everything from us while we quarrel over stupid bullshit…which is exactly what’s happening now.
Do more than simply say “thank you” to the men and women who defend this country. Show your gratitude through your actions.
Stand up, face the flag, and show respect every time our national anthem is played. Exercise the freedom they defend by getting out and voting in every election—not just when it’s convenient.
Stop constantly tearing down the country that gives you those freedoms. While our military is deployed overseas, standing watch and putting their lives on the line to protect this nation, show some respect. Pray for their safety and for the families waiting for them to come home.
And if you feel compelled to burn the very flag our service members have fought and died defending, perhaps you should seriously consider whether you value the country it represents.
You have the constitutional right to criticize this nation, but that doesn’t mean your actions are beyond criticism.
Patriotism isn’t just something you say. It’s something you demonstrate through respect, responsibility, gratitude, and action. 🇺🇸

ALASKA, MARC ELIAS & RANKED-CHOICE VOTING: FOLLOW THE MATHEMATICS.
WHAT IF SOMEONE COULD INFLUENCE AN ELECTION WITHOUT CHANGING A SINGLE BALLOT?
What if all it took was recruiting another candidate with the SAME NAME?
That is the question at the center of allegations involving two candidates named Dan Sullivan in Alaska.
And the concern is not simply voter confusion.
IT IS THE INTERACTION BETWEEN VOTER CONFUSION AND THE MATHEMATICS OF RANKED-CHOICE VOTING.
Here’s why that matters.
In ranked-choice voting, voters rank candidates by preference. If no candidate receives a majority of first-choice votes, the lowest-performing candidate is eliminated, and eligible ballots transfer to their next remaining choice.
Now introduce two candidates with the same name.
Some voters may mistakenly rank the wrong person.
Those rankings can affect first-choice totals.
First-choice totals determine who is eliminated.
Elimination determines which ballots transfer.
And the sequence of eliminations and transfers can affect the final result.
ONE SOURCE OF VOTER CONFUSION. MULTIPLE POTENTIAL MATHEMATICAL CONSEQUENCES.
This is why the alleged recruitment of a second Dan Sullivan deserves careful investigation.
If someone deliberately recruited a same-name candidate because they understood how voter confusion could interact with ranked-choice tabulation, investigators would need to establish whether that was the intended strategy.
And whether it had any measurable effect.
NOW FOLLOW THE CONNECTIONS.
Prominent election attorney Marc Elias and his law firm have represented Democratic campaigns, including Mary Peltola’s campaign.
That relationship does not establish participation in an alleged recruitment scheme.
But the underlying questions deserve documented answers:
Who recruited the second Dan Sullivan?
Who financed or coordinated his candidacy?
Was the shared name a deliberate consideration?
Did anyone model how that candidacy could affect ranked-choice elimination rounds?
What communications connect the candidate to political operatives, campaigns, attorneys, or outside organizations?
What do the actual ballot rankings and transfer records reveal?
TWO DIFFERENT QUESTIONS REQUIRE TWO DIFFERENT KINDS OF PROOF.
Evidence of recruitment, financing, communications, and coordination could establish whether confusion was deliberately engineered.
Election records and mathematical modeling could establish how the additional candidacy affected the tabulation—and whether alternative voting patterns could have produced a different result.
But the mathematics alone cannot reveal what voters intended.
THAT IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY PROBLEM.
A ballot can be counted exactly as cast while failing to reflect the choice its voter intended to make.
And when ranked-choice voting converts those rankings into successive eliminations and transfers, the consequences of mistaken choices can extend beyond the initial vote totals.
The question is whether anyone deliberately attempted to exploit that interaction.
AMERICANS CONSENT TO CAST THEIR VOTES. THEY DO NOT CONSENT TO HAVING THEIR CHOICES DELIBERATELY CONFUSED.
This deserves an evidence-based investigation—not assumptions of guilt and not automatic dismissal of legitimate questions.
Release the relevant candidate records.
Examine the recruitment and financing.
Preserve the communications.
Analyze the ranked-choice tabulation—where unnecessary mathematical complexity, sequential eliminations, and ballot transfers can obscure how voter choices ultimately determine the outcome.
Establish what happened, who was involved, and what the evidence actually proves.
BECAUSE COUNTING EVERY BALLOT CORRECTLY IS NOT THE SAME AS PROVING EVERY VOTER’S INTENT WAS ACCURATELY EXPRESSED.
🇺🇸 REAL VOTERS. REAL VOTES. REAL RANKINGS. REAL COUNTS. REAL PROOF.

A progressive group led by former Biden, Warren and Sanders aides has assembled a 182-page blueprint mapping out potential Democratic congressional investigations targeting President Trump's corporate allies and donors.
The document, obtained and analyzed by Fox News Digital, names Tesla, Apple, Amazon, OpenAI, Meta, Google, Microsoft, Oracle and others as targets for potential hearings. It also names Palantir's Alex Karp and Coinbase's Brian Armstrong individually. The blueprint goes beyond corporate targets, urging scrutiny of Trump's personal finances, his tax arrangements, cryptocurrency businesses and alleged preferential treatment of corporate donors.
A longtime Democratic Senate staffer familiar with the process says Democratic majorities on these committees already plan to exclusively focus on targeting allies and donors of the president, including those who donated to the new White House ballroom.

I'm a landlord, and I hate bad landlords as much as the next guy,(honestly probably MORE, because slumlords give the rest of us a bad name)...
But what St. Paul Voters just passed Tuesday night is completely NUTS.
Nearly 80% of St. Paul Voters,(92,045 to 24,469) just passed Question 1, the so-called "Right to Repair" ordinance.
Here is what they actually just voted into law:
A tenant sends a written repair notice. If the landlord doesn't have it scheduled or fixed within 14 days, the tenant can do "simple" repairs THEMSELVES,(or hire someone on their own) and deduct up to $500 or HALF a month's rent,(whichever is higher) straight off the rent check.
Think about how insane that is in the real world...
Over HALF of St. Paul's housing stock is ~100 years old. Good luck getting a specialty part or a licensed plumber/boiler tech out on a 100-year-old St. Paul duplex inside 14 days in the dead of a Minnesota winter. Now picture a tenant deciding to DIY the plumbing or electrical themselves and handing you a receipt and half a rent check... 🤦‍♂️
And here's the kicker: this measure was SO unworkable that even the St. Paul City Council voted in August to keep it OFF the ballot,(activist groups had to sue all the way to the Minnesota Supreme Court just to force it on). When an idea is too radical for the St. Paul City Council, that should tell you everything!
Look, nobody defends actual slumlords. Minnesota ALREADY has strict habitability laws, city housing inspectors, and rent-escrow courts where bad landlords get hammered legally.
Remember 2021 when St. Paul Voters passed the strictest Rent Control in the country because the ballot language sounded nice...new apartment permits crashed ~80% overnight while developers fled across the river, and the City spent years trying to walk back the damage?
Watch what happens next here:
Mom-and-pop landlords who own a duplex or a 4-plex aren't going to deal with DIY tenant "repairs," liability nightmares, and half-checks every month. They're going to sell out to giant corporate landlords with legal departments on retainer,(or pull those units off the rental market completely).
Fewer rentals, higher insurance, bigger corporate landlords, and EVEN HIGHER rent for the exact tenants who just voted 79% Yes for it.
Every single time...if only there was a way to see this coming.

Dear @grok,
Since 2020, what's was the change in the population in terms of those eligible to vote in America.
Go along party lines and new registered members per midterm and Presidential cycles.
Does the post below seem accurate?
How can a large percentage move towards Democrats this midterms?
🚨Wow, more data major red flags from the midterm numbers are developing:
The narrative that Republicans failed to turn out is false. The vote totals show Republicans performed right in line with their usual midterm participation and actually picked up additional support compared to the last midterm.
Rough House vote comparison:
Republicans
2022: 54.2 million
2026: roughly 55.6 million
Net increase: 1.4 million
Democrats
2022: 51.3 million
2026: roughly 70 million
Net increase: 19 million
Republican turnout stayed at typical midterm levels and edged higher. The idea that they stayed home is a complete lie and fabricated.
What stands out is the Democratic side: they added about 19 million more votes than in 2022, reaching numbers closer to a presidential election. The open question is where those extra votes came from and why were so many citizenship not verified.
And it's not in just one or two states. This is starting to show up in several states.
Story is developing....

BREAKING:
Massive surge of illegal sub-Saharan boat migrant in the Canary Islands.
More than 1400 illegal migrants arrived yesterday on 12 boats. More than 3400 have arrived in the past 5 days.
Hundreds more have arrived today. Locals have gathered in the port on the island of El Hierro to protest against the arrival of so many illegal migrants.
Most of the boats are discovered just off the African coast and are then towed by the Spanish authorities for hundreds of kilometers to the Canary Islands “to rescue them.”
