My priorities don’t change: ✔️ Protect residents ✔️ Protect small businesses ✔️ Keep the West Side strong ✔️ Build a responsible budget that doesn’t push families out of their homes

No one is operating anywhere near this level. I’m like a looney tunes guy with the eyes coming out of my head, just flabbergasted he’s even allowed to say that.
🚨 At the U20 Mayors Summit, Mamdani Says the Left Has Ceded “Quality of Life,” “Efficiency,” and “Fraud and Waste” to the Right This was one of the more interesting arguments Zohran Mamdani made today at the U20 Mayors Summit, and a reminder that he can be genuinely sharp when he drops the “central casting” routine. “In New York City, there are certain words that have taken on ideological associations.” “Quality of life has come to be seen as somehow a right-wing concern. Efficiency… has been taken on as a right-wing concern, rooting out fraud and waste, a right-wing concern.” Mamdani’s argument is that refusing to engage those issues actually helps the Right. “If you are staring at an example of social disorder or social inefficiency, and the left refuses to explain either why it has happened or how they will fix it, then the right gets to point at someone in the immediate area and say, ‘That’s who did it.’” The harder question is how much of the broader Left is actually prepared to follow the advice.

I still have questions, but by initial calcs the revised Parking Meter Deal provides a Present Value to taxpayers of $214.7mm, in a potentially Big Win for Chicago. All draft since docs not finalized, which I'll comb through this weekend. My DCF analysis & assumptions: 👇👇🧵

Thanks @AldConway! We believe in the future of geothermal and the future of Chicago! Thank you to @AldermanBurnett @312Walt @ChicagoDPD for your vision and your belief in the project.
Excited for the groundbreaking of 410 N. Elizabeth today! As a former Renewable Energy professor & developer, can tell you its use of Geothermal as the primary energy source is a model for future projects as growing demand, incl data centers, puts more stress on the grid.

Gov. JB Pritzker, stumping for Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton this morning: "In this moment, when that orange orangutan in the White House is coming after all of us... we know we've got to send somebody on behalf of the State of Illinois who's going to fight for us."
Gov. JB Pritzker and Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton rally supporters at the 27th Ward Democrats office. They’ve been campaigning across the city’s South and West sides this morning. Traditional Election Day lunch at @mannysdeli next. #ilsen #twill

“Dude I have 10 agents running while I sleep. No one is prepared for AGI in 2 years man.” “So what are you building?” “Bro all my smartest friends are vibe coding until 3am every night. It’s all about agency. Intelligence is a commodity man.” “So what are you building?” “Do you even study exponentials? Have you seen the latest METR chart? You’re going to be stuck in the permanent underclass bro.” “So what are you building?” “Did you even setup OpenClaw? I’m maxing out my token budget everyday man.” “So what are you building?” “I promise you I’m 10x more productive bro! You just don’t understand! Please bro just…. I know you use this stuff everyday too, but you must not be prompting it right! Please broo…”

Don’t let what 21 and Drake did with it make you close minded. Listen to a classic voice over it and magically you’ll hear a completely different record. Thank you @spectre0799 🔥 Cooked with this one.
Mr. Recoup came on in the gym and …. I didn’t skip. That beat is insane.

Congratulations to the @JWTumblers on hosting a successful "Season of Giving" event! The event raised funds for the Jesse White Foundation's scholarships, coat and food drives, and mentorship programs aimed at helping at-risk youth in Chicago. (1/2)

I had the honor of receiving the Book of Service with @312Walt at the @MercyHome's annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. The book highlights the work young people did throughout the year to give back to our city. I’m proud of our youth who are making a positive impact on Chicago!

Practical, simple, and fair. Our tax code shouldn’t be stuck in 1920.
