Keeps getting worse
At my last school I had a male Assistant Principal texting female students on their cell phones - he got 6 weeks paid leave for the “investigation” and assigned a class to take. I was threatened with my job because I protested his return. Remember that @apsupdate , Dr Dan Sim’s in @BibbSchools, @hr_nicoleL?
I say this to say to parents - it’s bad. Be aware.
Next, ask me about the teacher who sexually assaulted another teacher at my school and was only transferred.

A dozen or so 6 year olds, who would be refused entry to a movie with a fraction of this language, had to sit through this every day for hours for equity.

Somehow live is better than the music video. Whoever choreographed the video had a 1of1 moment in their creative life. Taking something standard, reordering it, and making it the defining concept. May we all experience that once in our professional life.

At what point does one student’s right to remain in the classroom stop outweighing 25 other students’ right to learn?
That it took people outside education to ask it should force those of us inside education to confront a much more uncomfortable question:
