🇺🇸 A former military pilot is shutting down the conspiracy theories about the Learjet crash in Florida that killed all 9 on board
"Enough with the conspiracy theories. It wasn't shot down. It wasn't a drone."
He says the jet likely iced up flying over bad storms and lost control, and after a dive that fast, "there ain't going to be nothing left."
Rest in peace to all 9, and strength to the families left behind. 🙏

There’s plenty of kids going to school in the dark even with the clocks going back to Standard Time. Stop the bullshit. @SenTomCotton

Remember to set your clocks back tonight from standard depression to seasonal depression.

The dude who thought it would be a good idea to set the clocks back and give us only darkness at home did not consult the people who just need one more fucking reason…

Turned the clocks back an hour. Normally wake up at 8, woke up at 7. Gained absolutely nothing, except an extra hour of darkness before bedtime. Brilliant system.

Daylight saving time ends Sunday, and most of the U.S. will turn clocks back one hour. ⏰
But 19 states have already passed laws to make daylight saving time permanent. Those changes can't take effect unless federal law changes first. For now, most Americans will continue changing their clocks twice a year. What do you think?

We need to end the barbaric practice of require every American to change clocks twice a year.
Clocks are supposed to serve humans.
Not the other way around.

Tonight for the second time in as many years, I will not be participating in the semi-annual lunacy of changing the clocks.
Tomorrow morning, I will still be on Daylight Savings Time, so all my posts will start an hour earlier for those who do change their clocks.
I will not gain an hour of sleep only to lose it again next March.
Both myself and my pups will eat at the same scheduled time as usual, I'm not gonna make them wait an extra hour simply because a few DC politicians think they know better than anyone else.
I don't have to obey the government, being retired gives me this advantage.

Changing the clocks back so it’s dark at 4pm is about the dumbest shit we do as a society. It isn’t the 1800s anymore.

Turning the clocks back is archaic and absurd in the year 2026. Darkness at 5pm is madness and depressing as hell. The fact we haven’t fixed this is peak incompetence in Washington D.C.

Good morning, it will now be pitch black at 4:30 pm for the next five months in Nashville. Falling back is indefensibly stupid and should end forever.

Across parts of the northern United States, the amount of daylight will shrink by more than an hour between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30. Seattle, for example, will lose more than 70 minutes of daylight during that stretch. 🌇🕰️

Did you turn your clock back? Are you tired of it yet? So am I.
It’s time for the Senate to pass the Sunshine Protection Act and end it once and for all!

Tomorrow, millions of Americans will be forced to interrupt their busy lives to change every clock they have — your car, your oven, your alarm clock.
Annoying, isn’t it?
It doesn’t have to be this way! We need to pass the Sunshine Protection Act ASAP and lock the clock once and for all!
