Young man, Nursing has specialists in critical care, anaesthesia, oncology, nephrology, paediatrics and many other fields. A Head of Department is an administrative appointment, not a title reserved for doctors. Leadership depends on qualifications, competence and institutional policy, not professional arrogance. Come to kenya see what it means to be a medic we don't judge a person based on titles what are you bringing to the table. Being a doctor doesn't make you the automatic boss of every healthcare professional. Challenge a nurse's competence if you can, but don't mistake professional prejudice for clinical superiority. @GNM_254
But can a nurse really be head a department over a specialist ?

Do you MALE DOCTORS know what women go through during any vaginal procedure? Any touch is pain!... You don't have an idea!... you may think they are lying... "I'll soon finish"... "madam, stay well"... "you no even get strength"... are not anaesthesia Do you know the pain women go through after surgery in the perineal region?... are you people actually serious or mad?... I can see so many STUPID takes on the TL....
NO WOMAN DESERVES TO BE IN PAIN WHEN YOU ARE OPERATING ON HER. STOP IMMEDIATELY AND DON'T BE SILLY. STOP JUSTIFYING NONSENSE... ARE YOU DOCTORS ACTUALLY SERIOUS?... THIS IS MADNESS!!!

Dr Kabweru W.M, National Chief Surgeon, V.P U.M.A, after removing a plastic piece of a cannular from the right basilica vein after 3 weeks in situ Cannulars should not be used for out patient services as the outer part can break off especially in active patients like children.

Hello ! You might just need this. Please Read. When you work with a leader or someone that stretches you beyond your comfort zone, and truly wants you to be a better version of yourself, You have no idea what God is doing for you. My late mentor, Pastor Eskor Mfon was never really a professional musician per se, but was a great worshipper and one that had an ear for good music. He would come into our choir room after we had spent hours rehearsing. He’d sit, cross His legs, rest his jaws on his palm, close his eyes and listen to what we had done. After a while, he’d shake his head, smile and heave an interesting sigh “aaaaahhhh !”, and then say to us “okay okay well done o, but we can’t give God this kind of worship tomorrow, let’s start again…” And believe me, another 2-3 hours of work…. He’d tell us, “you know we can’t take people to a place we have not been to ourselves…” He would share scriptures, explain what ministry was all about, then sit with us as we slugged it out. Anyway, those days would later become the foundation of my music ministry today. Hmmm, There were days I thought “this stress is just too much” just to lead worship ??? But what did I know ? Poor boy ! My eyes opened one day, and I caught it. The inheritance I got from him was not money and material things, even though he took good care of us. But the values, principles, work ethic, mind shift, wisdom, spiritual intelligence and understanding, emphasis on prayer, word, purity, integrity, character, excellence etc. Today I honour him everywhere I go, because in hindsight, He was God sent - To a young man who only had talent, but with very little or no sense of direction. So, to anyone out there, connecting with this post and perhaps in a similar place, I say receive GRACE to maximize the moment. Learn and glean all you can now, never despise the process, instead appreciate and honour it. For not everyone is privileged to have another man or woman who leave their own thing to sit on your matter, just to make sure you excel in life. It is a blessing ! And in case it appears to be taking longer than it should, may be, just maybe. you are cut out for the BIG TIME. And in no distant future we would be reading your own inspiring story. But Please note ! Only make sure the person or leader is one that meets the criteria above - I.e, one who truly desires to see a better version of you and wants you to fulfill your prophetic destiny. And Not just one who seeks to hijack your life, control it and put in under lock and key. Blessings 🙂

Kamuganga Sarah wants Justice for her daughter deceased Melissa Aneza The family's world stopped on November 4th, 2025, when Kamuganga Sarah’s biological daughter, Melissa Aneza, went missing while returning to school. Every search effort hit a cold dead end. On November 10th, 2025, her body was tragically discovered in Kyampisi, Mukono district. The details of the crime are horrifying and demand immediate action: • Melissa’s face was mutilated beyond recognition. • Her arms were broken, and her eyes were plucked out. • She was strangled and suffocated with her own sock, which was found around her neck. • Her body showed extensive bruising, as if she had been burnt with hot water. We cannot fathom the mission of these killer(s), but we know they are still walking free. Kamuganga Sarah is devastated, and she is speaking out now for accountability. Today, we join Kamuganga Sarah to demand justice for her innocent child. We must ensure these murderers are brought to book. This cruelty cannot continue—today it is Melissa, tomorrow it could be anyone else. Please, Retweet until she gets justice #JusticeForMelissaAneza @PoliceUg

Its great to see a reduction in deaths by pregnancy related sepsis in the MPDSR report from. From 9% in 2023/2024 to 8% in 2024/2025. The APT-Sepsis programme seeks to reduce sepsis a burden being borne by women in low resource settings by changing health workers behaviours.
