Alberta is never getting a new pipeline, and Carney knows it.

Jeff Rath is an NDP supporter, and I'm a closet Liberal.
BREAKING - #ableg Today, DANIELLE SMITH tried to deflect from accidentally sending a text meant for Tom Lukaszuk to Jeff Rath by telling Nenshi that Rath is an NDP problem because Rath “donated to the NDP”. What Smith is referring is that in 2015 and 2016 my office bought 2 tickets to 2 different leaders events when Notley was premier. From my best recollection I attended the 2015 event and gave the 2016 event ticket to someone else. I never bothered to attend one ever again. This does not make anyone an NDP “supporter”. I have never been a member of the NDP or ever voted for the NDP. 11 year old event tickets have nothing to do with SMITH betraying 56% of the UCP vote by working underhandedly with Lukaszuk to rig the petition process and the recent non-binding referendum. What it does show is that SMITH can’t be trusted to lead.

‼️WOW: Ursula von der Leyen has just LAID CLAIM to the Arctic for the EU. “The Arctic is part of the European Union.” This is direct challenge to Donald Trump. She framed it as Europe’s “Northern Neighbourhood” citing three EU Arctic states, 500k+ EU citizens there. She did this while in Canada, and said Canada is a partner in this.

A Halton police officer was just CHARGED chasing a criminal in a STOLEN Hummer. The criminal fled. The police officer chased him. The CRIMINAL SMASHED into a tractor-trailer. The criminal was hurt & arrested. Now the police officer, David Joseph, is facing charges causing bodily harm! Zero details on what he did wrong.
No explanation beyond "reasonable grounds."
The SIU says no further comment because it's before the courts. GUYS, WHEN CHASING CAR THIEVES IS A CRIME, THE THIEVES WIN. How hard is it to understand this? WE ARE MAKING IT EASY FOR CRIMINALS.

🚨BREAKING: The Liberals just voted against Bill C-264, leaving their Liberal tanker ban in place and preventing the export of crude oil from Prince Rupert on B.C's north coast. This shows that Prime Minister Mark Carney is not serious about making Canada an energy superpower.

💥REPORT: Canada's Ethics Commissioner implicated in a Mark Carney/Brookfeild cover-up. Despite the Ethics Commissioner's claim that Carney is compliant, 1,900 Brookfield-owned businesses were omitted from the registry, casting doubt on the integrity of the ethics screen. How can the Commissioner confirm Carney's compliance without a fully vetted list? This revelation raises serious questions about the effectiveness of the conflict-of-interest screen and the transparency of Carney's financial interests.

Conflict of interest law isn't being applied to the Prime Minister's friends. Carney’s longtime friend Dan Goldberg runs Telesat, which just got a $2.3B federal contract. I asked the Ethics Commissioner why. I didn't get an answer.

Carney's parliamentary secretary of energy just posted a video trying to deceive Canadians. Showing a graph of net debt, making it seem like we have the lowest debt in the G7, in reality net debt accounts for net assets, as in the CPP and QPP, which the government does not have access to to pay off Canada's debts. Thus this is very misleading. The Liberals know full well that the average Canadian doesn't know what net debt means and will just think Canada has a low amount of debt. In reality the Liberals have added more debt to Canada in the last 11.5 years than all other prime ministers combined.
Canada has the lowest net debt in the G7, the strongest credit rating, and debt servicing costs well below historical levels. That doesn't mean we shouldn't be careful with public money. It means we have choices. And in a trade war and an uncertain world, having choices matters.

You clearly haven’t a clue about debt. We are heading toward another fiscal crisis like we had in the mid-90s. It’ll be worse this time because our economy is much weaker than it was then, largely due to bad Liberal policies. Stop the gaslighting & stop wasting our $. For shame.
Pierre Poilievre has started saying "debt is out of control". Governments do need to be careful about the debt they bring on. But here's some important context as Canada diversifies trade, builds big and supports affordability.

What Carney promised to fix fast — and still hasn’t Carney promised free trade inside Canada by Canada Day, doubled housing starts toward 500k/year, fast major projects, US trade certainty, and a skilled workforce and 18 months later: * Interprovincial barriers & labour mobility still drag growth. Federal exceptions cleared and some goods mutual recognition done, but ~200 provincial ones remain. Workers still don’t move freely (easier in the EU). Hyder: “We’re still in our own way more than we need to be on provincial trade barriers… The fact that we still can’t move labour around in this country is really problematic. There’s easier movement in the European Union, 27 countries, than there is in Canada.” * Housing scale-up is nowhere near the promise. Build Canada Homes committed funding for ~19k affordable units; only ~2–2.3k under construction. Starts haven’t doubled; 500k target walked back. * Major projects and risk-averse bureaucracy. Special agencies (Major Projects Office, defence, housing) are short-term bypasses. Hyder: “We are just not a risk society. Our government is not a risk society. Our bureaucracies are punished for risk… Those [special agencies] are not sustainable in the long haul. At some point we need to have our full arsenal of government working.” * US trade certainty incomplete. No full deal. Focus on 232 tariffs with industry supports and diversification (e.g. UAE), but tariffs persist and USMCA review looms. Hyder: “If there were a mutually beneficial deal available, then there’s something that they can do… North America is putting the puck in its own net. We’ve got to get something done sooner rather than later.” * Workforce utilization and skills. Population growth near-flat. Credential recognition and deploying people already here remain slow—Hyder called this “job one” Announcements and money have moved; the structural fixes (true internal free trade, systemic speed, actual housing volume, stable trade rules) have not arrived at the “light speed” promised by Carney And the media continues to look the other way @goldyhyder

There’s no chance you will see Carney sharing this clip I found from last nights dinner with the Crown Prince. He says “now your highness, your visit cements that friendship, that partnership based on values…” Excuse me what values are those? Abu Dhabi has zero rights for LGBTQ, their freedom of expression is extremely limited & their laws are based on Islam. Side note, who do you spot sitting at the dinner?

If Carney has nothing to hide, why did he order his MPs to shut this investigation down. This is exactly why Conservatives fought to keep oversight committees of the House out of Liberal control.
Things that make you go Hmm! Liberals shut down debate on a motion to have Diana Fox Carney, Mark Carney's wife appear before the Fisheries and Oceans Committee to discuss her appointment as Canada's new "Oceans Envoy" and the $1.2 Billion plus tax dollars she's been given to do it. #cdnpoli This was the motion: That, given the recent appointment of Canada’s Ocean Envoy and Chair of the 12th Our Ocean Conference, and the Government of Canada’s recently announced $1.2 billion investment in ocean protection, the committee invite Canada’s Ocean Envoy to appear for no fewer than two hours, at the earliest opportunity, but no later than Friday, November 27, 2026, to discuss the Envoy’s mandate, priorities, and plans to advance Canada’s ocean conservation and fisheries interests, including preparations for the 2027 Our Ocean Conference, the government’s financial commitments, and the anticipated costs associated with hosting the conference; and that the Ocean Envoy be requested to provide the committee with a copy of the formal mandate, any associated terms of reference, and a breakdown of the anticipated costs of hosting the conference prior to the appearance.

🚨 THE EU IS SLAPPING CARBON TARIFFS ON CANADA. $2.8 BILLION of our steel, iron and aluminum. No exemption. Carney's been selling Europe as our escape from Trump's tariffs. Turns out they want to tariff us too. 😂 And that carbon tax we've been paying for years? It didn't buy us a damn thing. How's that working out? 👋 #CarbonTariff
‼️BREAKING: EU to Hit Canada with Carbon Tariffs All is fair in love, war and trade! In a stunning blow, the EU is imposing carbon border charges on Canadian steel, iron, and aluminum starting 2027. -$2.8 billion in exports exposed — no exemption for Canada despite its own carbon price. -Internal docs call it “effectively a carbon tariff.” Quebec and Newfoundland hardest hit as Ottawa pushes EU trade diversification. -Canadian producers face new compliance costs and higher prices on metals already slammed by U.S. tariffs. -The EU is weaponizing climate policy into a direct trade hit on Canada. The EU is applying its Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) to Canadian steel, iron and aluminum to stop “carbon leakage”. Our new best friends dont even want our stuff! How brutal is this?
