Black American DJ Grandmaster Flowers has been erased as the precursor to Hip Hop. People who are outsiders of black culture blanket him as a disco DJ which is false. He played inside clubs for money and he played outside for park jams. DJ’s made money back then. They wasn’t starving artist if they were great.
