Today my daughter’s school bus took 2 hours to travel just 2 km in Varthur/Gunjur road.
For those 2 hours, I sat there as a parent feeling completely helpless.
I work hard. My wife and I pay lakhs in taxes every month. We took a huge home loan mainly so we could live close to our daughter’s school and give her a safer, easier childhood.
And yet, this is what “2 km from school” means here.
In the last year alone, we have seen a school bus topple, a woman suffer serious injuries after a fall, a biker almost lost his life after falling because of a pothole, and many more incidents that never become headlines.
Every day, ordinary people here tweet, email, complain, follow up and plead with authorities.
We are not activists.
We are not fighting for a political party.
We are parents, employees, families and taxpayers asking for one basic thing:
Please give our children a safe road to come home on.
Today, more than the traffic, what broke me was the feeling that despite doing everything a responsible citizen is supposed to do, I had absolutely no power to protect my own child.
If anyone knows how ordinary citizens of Varthur/Gunjur can reach someone with the authority to actually intervene, please help us.

Mandatory CCTV access. Stringent background verification. And nannies and daycare staff who have undergone proper, certified training under National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

The Video of politician Navjot Singh Siddhu stating his wife is cured of 4th stage cancer by just following Sugar free diet , eating turmeric and avoiding dairy products is very Misguiding to cancer patients and general public across the Nation .
The public should be aware his wife Najvot Kaur was undergoing Chemotherapy , Radiotherapy and operated surgically with pain & palliative management in a modern medicine hospital and Not any Herbal centre .
None of these original facts were stated in the video and only this herbal diet treatment was stated by him in the press conference .
This is a thankless behaviour towards the oncologists treating his wife .
The masses follow such vague advices with half knowledge by such public figures (hiding the main treatment course ) and thinking that cancer can be cured by doing such herbal remedies and abstinence of diet .
These factors also contribute to violence against doctors as public follow such advices and reach to doctors in terminal stages and expect them to do some magic treatment absence of which leads to anguish over the healthcare professionals .

The residents have given ultimatum of mass suicide on 31st may if the toxic culture is not removed completely
It has never happened in the history that harassed doctors are ready to take their own lives due to torture by their medical college .
