Yes, the Left cheated!

Brazil's election has been stolen! Chile, Peru, Colombia swung right this year. The Left saw that, and determined that Brazil was too big a prize to let go. They cheated. Lula needs to be exfiltrated like Maduro was.
WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP THE FIGHT This is what happened in Brazil’s election - and this is just the beginning. Share this video👇

I am in shock. I started to actively use X at the end of August this year. I was annoyed and angered at the anti-Semitic tropes being used freely in the mainstream media, the representation of Israel and the intimidation of the Jewish community in Ireland and around the world. I had had enough. So I started posting. By the end of September I had about 80 followers. Yesterday, when I woke I had 1.4k. Then I posted the first in my series entitled “Everything You Think You Know About Israel is (Probably) Wrong”. This morning I have 14k followers. I want to thank everyone who helped along the way, for the likes, follows and reposts. Please know this is only the beginning. Having worked in the media and seeing the level of antisemitism and misinformation out there, I am going to be an antidote. I am Israeli. I stand with the Jews and those who are pro-Israeli. I have no energy for the lies, hate and bile of antisemites and pro-Palestinians. Please spread the word. The next installment of “Everything You Think You Know About Israel is (Probably) Wrong” will be published in the coming days. Thank you from my heart.✊🇮🇱✡️💪❤️

Me too. I'm a New Zealander, with zero known Jewish ancestry. I'm a Zionist, and proud of it.
I'm not Jewish. I'm a New Zealander. And I'm a Zionist.

I have supported Israel for a long time. After thinking about my position for a while, I have come to a clear conclusion: I still support Israel and probably always will. My reasons are many, including: 1. I have been to Israel twice and have met numerous Israelis. The people of Israel are the most wonderful, kindest, most joyful people I have encountered. 2. I have extensively talked to both Israelis and Palestinians. Israelis want nothing more than peace. The other side not so much. 3. Israel is the safest and best place for Christians in the Middle East. Christians are thriving and the majority of them are happy with life. Being against the one nation were Christians are safe would be very stupid. Israel treats minorities exceptionally well. 4. Israel was brutally attacked by terrorists many times, despite their repeated (and in my opinion excessive) attempts to make peace by giving hostile countries and populations land to live on and many more compromises. The final attack on October 7 crossed all lines and taught Israel the lesson that you can never placate Islamic terrorists. I have seen more footage from October 7 than most Israelis have and I will never forget the gruesome acts of vile barbarism inflicted on innocent people, with the approval and celebration of most of the Palestinian population. I would support any nation fighting back until the end after such atrocities that are incomprehensible to sensible human beings. 5. Israel is fighting my enemy and your enemy if you are not an Islamist. Israel is fighting Islamists whose goal it is to dominate the Middle East and restart the caliphate. Islamists want to subjugate most of us and outright kill many of us including me. Israel is therefore a natural ally and I am happy to support them against the great evil in this world. 6. I have actually deeply studied the history of Israel, especially the 19th and 20th centuries. Only one side has consistently tried to build a peaceful future for all and that is Israel. "Palestine" is a late invention to fight and eradicate Israel. It should never be allowed. Had the Palestinian Arabs agreed to peace in the 1920s, 1940s, 1960s, 1980s, 1990s, or even possibly in the 2000s, we wouldn't be in this situation. 7. While I strongly disagree with Judaism and Jews may strongly disagree with my beliefs, I also value Judaism and Jewish beliefs and values which are mostly in line with Christian beliefs and values. The Apostle Paul had a very special love for his fellow Jewish people, even if they rejected his belief in Christ. He also told us that God loves them for their patriarchs and never revokes his gifts and callling. (Romans 11:28-32) 8. Israel built a beautiful nation that is unlike any other in the region. 9. The struggle and resilience of the Jewish people and their regathering and revival of their culture is unlike anything seen in human history, and I appreciate and love it. 10. I just want to. I don't care how many people jumped on the anti-Israel trend.

You've nailed it, Joel.
We legalized abortion and slaughtered 100 million of our own children, then we stopped getting married and having kids. As a result, the free market suddenly had a demand for imported people just to prevent total collapse.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Calvinism is a stencil, a theological filter that fits together like clockwork so well that its followers don't realise how egregiously it distorts the plain meaning of Scripture.
The five points of Calvinism can be like placing a stencil over the Bible: once the stencil is in place, everything seems to fit the pattern. But if you start with Scripture rather than Calvinism, you can see God as fully loving toward all people while still requiring everyone to come to Him by grace through faith. The enemy is the one who wants people to believe they were born rejected by God.

In the end, growing up and gaining responsibilities, namely my own children's welfare, has led me further and further away from ny old liberal beliefs than anything. I cannot both deny the real world and also successfully participate in it. Delusion leads to immaturity.

As I get ready for church this morning, I am still thinking about the vast difference between the God presented by Calvinism and the God revealed in Scripture. The Calvinist conception of God demands awe and fear primarily because His sovereign will must be fulfilled and because whatever He decrees must, by definition, be called good, even when it appears evil, cruel, or morally abhorrent. His purposes may never be questioned, His character may never be evaluated by the goodness He has revealed about Himself. We are simply told, “He has a reason.” But how can we meaningfully trust such a God? Under Calvinism, God could decree every heresy and deception, command people to believe the truth while withholding from them any genuine ability to do so, and create our own children with no possibility of salvation—destining them from eternity to suffer His wrath for a response they were never able to give. And we are expected to call all of this “good” merely because God decreed it. Some Calvinists have even suggested that we may regard those God allegedly created for damnation with contempt (even our own children) because human beings are beneath Him—“lesser than rats.” That is not the God revealed in the Bible. The true God is certainly sovereign, holy, and worthy of reverent fear. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10), and His majesty should bring us to our knees. But biblical fear is not terror before an arbitrary ruler whose character cannot be known. It is reverent awe before the God whose character is perfectly righteous, whose judgments are true, and whose steadfast love endures forever. And whose love and character we may KNOW. We trust God not merely because He is powerful, but because He is good. He cannot lie (Titus 1:2), cannot deny His own nature (2 Timothy 2:13), and cannot tempt anyone with evil (James 1:13). Every good and perfect gift comes from Him, “with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change” (James 1:17). His sovereignty does not make evil or goodness meaningless, His unchanging goodness is the very foundation of our confidence in His sovereignty. This is the God who is “gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love” and who is “good to all” (Psalm 145:8–9). He takes “no pleasure in the death of the wicked,” but calls them to turn and live (Ezekiel 18:23, 32). He is patient, “not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). He loved the world enough to give His only Son so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). This is the God who demonstrates His love in Christ—not toward people who had earned it, but “while we were still sinners” (Romans 5:8). He invites us not merely into servile submission, but into adoption: we have not received “the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear,” but “the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’” (Romans 8:15). Jesus even tells His disciples, “I have called you friends” (John 15:15). Yes, we fear Him. Yes, we stand in awe of His holiness and majesty. But we also trust Him because He has shown Himself trustworthy. We love Him because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). And we draw near to Him because His perfect love casts out the fear of punishment (1 John 4:18). The God of the Bible does not demand that we call evil good simply because power has ordained it. He reveals what goodness is through His own holy, loving, truthful, and unchanging character. His power is never divorced from His goodness, and His sovereignty is never separated from His love. That is why He is not merely a God before whom we tremble. He is the Father into whose arms we may confidently run.

It's 25 years now since 911. I was in faraway New Zealand, sleeping in. My wife, who typically gets up earlier than I do, came in and woke me up, saying that "a plane" had hit "a building" in New York. "It must be some idiot drunk teenage pilot with a Cessna," I thought. I rolled over and went back to sleep. I got up a couple of hours later and turned on the news. The full magnitude of the unfolding tragedy hit me like a ton of bricks. That was the day the world changed forever. For many of us who were already adults at the time, that was the moment when we lost our innocence.
