When he nears his peak as an athlete, I don’t think there will be any questions as to how far he can go as a player. The skill is all there, & his best skills have become somewhat overshadowed by his ability to score the basketball lol.

I spent years chasing the dream of becoming an NBA scout.
Then I got there.
And it was the best job I’ve ever had.
I moved my family to Paris, traveled across Europe, scouted basketball for a living and loved every minute of it.
8 months later, it was over.
I wrote about the experience, the lessons and how it changed me.

I know it’s been said about many a prospect before, but if Joshua Jefferson can become a good 3-point shooter at the next level (35% last year at Iowa State — so not too far off), he could be a long-term starter in the NBA. He’s got all the tools in his toolkit
Joshua Jefferson when asked which NBA players he resembles:
"I think there's a lot of shades of Draymond, his connectedness on both sides of the floor. Jaylin Williams, the dirty work that he does. The ball skills that any of the big forwards have, like Naz Reid, Julius Randle, Paolo Banchero... I think I have a little bit of that. Just a combination of all those things. A guy that can do everything on the court."

"I'm coming in trying to be hungry and bring back that winning culture."
