Here’s a white pill for y’all: according to Pew Research, 47% of Republicans plan to vote on Election Day this year, up from 39% in 2024. And if that’s the case I think we’re in good shape turnout wise in most of the key states, and will at least keep the bottom from falling out in NC. Still gonna be a tough persuasion environment, but it’s always nice to know we don’t have to worry about our voters just straight-up bailing on us.

I don’t think Republicans are gonna get destroyed in the midterms as badly as the general consensus expects, but if we do I’m encouraging my fellow conservatives to not doom too hard over it. Reminder that we got destroyed in 2018 and before COVID hit it looked like Trump would win re-election fairly easily, so a whole lot can change in just 2 years. Plus if Dems do well they’re probably gonna double-down on woke, whereas we can hopefully evaluate what went wrong and rebuild. Dems overperformed in 2022 and didn’t learn shit, and if they had 2024 might’ve gone differently. So always look at the silver lining. In the end, I have faith we’ll win.
