A lot of states are having some of the oldest voting demographics imaginable. Following previous patterns there is a non zero chance that 2026, is 61% 50 and older.

207k ballots voted by mail and in person in Iowa and only 3.3% ages 18-25. The polls are modeling much higher. This is not good for Dem statewide candidates because one of their keys to victory is a stupidly high margin in Johnson County, home to the U of Iowa.

Yeah as we expected it seems the urban areas update later in the day. Another 70k ballots have been counted, and it helped moved the votes from 65% Trump counties to 60% Trump counties. Once again, and you would think we wouldn't have to do this, but this does not mean that voting today was R+28. The only thing you can 100% say is that the votes from today came from redder counties than yesterday, which MAY IMPLY that today's voting was redder than yesterday.
Looks like Texas just did a bulk dump of ballots! Almost 400k ballots, 65%! from Trump counties. Now obviously this doesn't mean they are Paxton voters, and also from what we can tell the morning drop is normally mostly rurals, and they don't update until the next day.

Florida today so far has been pretty stagnant. Dems probably will win today's early voting in the evening, and then the Rs should pick back up tomorrow. Saturday and Sunday were "Souls to the Polls" which typically does good for Democrats.

Georgia on the other hand.

Tucker talks about Moderate (NeoCon) Governors winning red states. Wow, awesome, is he going to do something? Endorse? Donate money? Talk about it maybe before the election? No? This person is running third party. Completely pointless, maybe 10%. Her agenda doesn't seem bad, but its pointless. She also was a central part of what's called "Checkgate" in Wyoming. In which several Wyoming HFC members were given checks while on the House Floor right after voting. Which is a really really really bad look, lets be real here. Bad enough that its now illegal to give campaign contributions inside the state capitol in Wyoming. Checkgate and a couple other votes just completely murdered the Wyoming HFC. 9/10 HFC members involved in Checkgate were primaried out. Such an insane self made error, one she says she thinks people don't care about anymore. Did Tucker ask her about Checkgate? Making the HFC seem comically corrupt? We like state HFC, but when you have so many enemies, you can't exactly be giving them ammo.

Afternoon seems solid for Kamala counties and swing counties. This also could be how the various counties report, wouldn't be shocked if more rural counties do a once a day or something update.
Texas Trump Counties are firing on all cylinders today. Now of course this doesn't mean todays vote was R+13ish. But the GOP definitely want Trump areas voting more and more. Yesterday only 47% of the vote came from Trump counties, and 13% was from swing counties.

Another day and Georgia Dems are (probably) still doing very well. So far 53% of today's ballots are coming from Harris areas. That is a slight improvement 55% Thursday and 54% Yesterday.
