Multi-agency Active Search Near Beck’s Church Road in Lexington
LEXINGTON, N.C. – The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office and partner agencies in conducting a search tied to a cold case investigation. The search area is on Beck’s Church Road. The following agencies will be searching on Oct. 26, 27, and 28.
Agencies taking part include:
-- Davidson County Sheriff's Office
-- FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation
-- N.C. State Bureau of Investigation
-- NC Wildlife Resources Commission, Law Enforcement Division
-- Davidson County Emergency Management
-- Davidson County Fire Marshal’s Office
Authorities know of no threat to the public. Residents will see more law enforcement and emergency personnel in the area during the search, and we thank them for their patience.

SCOOP: The Justice Department just charged 48 foreigners with illegally voting in American elections and registering to cast ballots, @realDailyWire is first to report.
The accused are located in Nevada, Pennsylvania, California, Florida, and New York. All but one of the accused are lawful permanent residents.
A single illegal immigrant was among those charged, according to a list provided by the Justice Department. Cuban national Alfredo Santiesteban, 73, allegedly cast a ballot in the 2024 general election.

“…[P]erhaps we can look at the extension of quality US health care to undocumented immigrants from the global South as reparations for the cost of market externalities that US global economic policy and practice extract from those countries.”
She went on: “[W]e, as US citizens are actually costing many other world citizens in ways and amounts that we will never be able to repay.”
Strip away all the grad school gobbledygook, and Bichler claims Americans should pay for free healthcare for illegal immigrants to atone for our purported sins.
“That’s radical, anti-American, out-of-touch thinking, and it doesn’t represent New Hanover County,” said Sen. Michael Lee. “If free health care for illegal immigrants is how Jessica Bichler wants to start paying reparations to the world, she owes voters an answer: what else does she think North Carolina taxpayers should pay?
