Here is my extremely spoiler-heavy review for Digger (link below). The long and the short of it is that it is a masterpiece, albeit one which is open to many possible critiques and misinterpretations.
Review coming later, but preliminary thoughts on DIGGER: While there are some critiques I understand, appreciate, and take seriously, I think a lot of critics (especially American ones) are coming away feeling attacked. The claims of didacticism are extremely overblown.

Yes! Although I thought that one had a stronger reputation than Blackhat? Maybe I'm wrong there.

I think it may be in you if you are reading this as narcissistic and smug. I liked the film, but this isn't an unreasonable feeling to have if it bounces off of you.

Every time I put on Bertolucci's 1900 I always laugh because the first lines of the movie are "Long live Stalin!!!" and then proceeds to show a bunch of Italian fascists getting brutally murdered lol

All three pretty obsessively. My mother owns a complete OED, and I loved using the magnifying glass to read the entries. My parents also have copies of the Micropædia, which I would pore over. And the thesaurus was just good fun :)
Did anyone else read the dictionary, thesaurus, and encyclopedias for fun as a kid or my parents are just psychopaths?

I sometimes get hate mail from strangers due to the Being a Woman Online debuff, but even then it's hardly comparable to twitter or other sm

You do not ever need to engage with a woman who says no one should watch body horror and complains about the "video nasties."

fr! We let Jackie get away with waaaaay worse early on. Game of Death would have been really cool if he'd lived to finish it.

"She’s an actress who has profited from portraying his wife as a bizarre and dishonest and manipulative freak" Elizabeth Holmes is a bizarre and dishonest and manipulative freak.
I think Nathan Fielder did a really good job with You Can See Everything. Especially in showing how unwilling Amanda Seyfried was to acknowledge her own role in potentially harming another person. He had everyone looking at one another and questioning everyone else’s intentions, while seemingly being completely unwilling to examine their own behavior. I thought Amanda’s resistance to doing that was especially revealing I also obviously think Billy is terrible. I think he’s cruel and exploitative. I’ve seen Elizabeth’s tweets for years and thought they were her. Finding out they’re his was jarring and sad. But as much as I dislike Billy, I think he made a very good point. Why would he care what Amanda thinks? She’s an actress who has profited from portraying his wife as a bizarre and dishonest and manipulative freak to an audience that is largely voyeuristic, incredibly binary in their moral thinking, and seemingly unable to separate fiction from reality I don’t think that Amanda needed to defend Elizabeth or excuse anything she’s done but I do think it’s bizarre how unwilling she seemed to consider that she might have contributed to another person’s suffering

Why not anyone else? Because Bruce Lee died and was immortalized as a legend, and when Tarantino dies no one will care.
