When we engage in inner speech, all the mechanisms of outer speech and the auditory process activate in the brain. Therefore, what we say to ourselves is just like hearing it said by someone else to us. Inform students that inner speech can build them up or destroy them.

I already had a teacher nightmare that I lost half my class on the way to lunch because we were six feet apart and the end of the line couldn’t see where we were going. It’s hard getting kindgarteners to go anywhere six inches apart let alone 6 feet!

My sister had her son convinced that the Easter Bunny doesn't have candy for the baskets because "he" hasn't gone shopping in over 2 weeks. 😂 He doesn't know who his mom is...She went shopping a month ago knowing she wasn't going to want to go shopping in April for Easter stuff.
