Thanks Dave - there are some Australian approaches I think - not sure if @andrewjtagg @DrSimonCraig could help here. One of the challenges is that ‘safety netting’ itself has a wide variety of meanings This needs updating but some leads here: bmjopen.bmj.com/content/5/12…

Red-flag symptoms were reported in 81 (6·0%) of 1349 patients. Only two were felt to have been delayed in presenting and neither of these patients was admitted to hospital It's reassuring that red flag features were not dismissed by parents @ASKSNIFF @bestbeginnings

With a child population of over one million, this department is absolutely necessary to ensure that children are properly considered, across all departments. Without #DCYAMustStay , it won't happen, and there's still much to be done.

A change in breathing is so key to identifying when a child is becoming more unwell. An objective way of parents articulating why they are worried as something is ‘different’
At this difficult time @ASKSNIFF team .@SarahNeill7 .@Damian_Roland .@AlisonTavare have decided to share some of the content planned for our iPoorly app. Front page to help families know when to call 999 for a sick child under 5 years of age. Pls RT .@doctorsanjay .@KathEvans2
