Andy Burnham warned in 2016 that free movement could drive down wages and undermine British workers.
Those concerns cannot simply be brushed aside now.
What has changed, Prime Minister? What evidence do you have that restoring free movement would not recreate the very problems you previously identified?
The public deserves a straight answer.

Walker: "I nearly bought a wool jumper in town. £140. Nice work if you can get it."
Farmer: "I got about £2 for the fleece."
Walker: "£2?"
Farmer: "Per sheep, per year. Clipped it off her in two minutes, rolled it, bagged it, drove it to the depot. The cheque for the whole flock didn't cover the diesel."
Walker: "Then who's getting the £140?"
Farmer: "Not me, not the shearer. He costs me more per sheep than the wool fetches. I pay to have it taken off."
Walker: "So you lose money shearing."
Farmer: "Every year. And I can't not shear, or she cooks in July and the flies eat her alive. The wool's a welfare job that used to be an income."
Walker: "Sell it yourself, then. Cut out the middleman."
Farmer: "Not allowed. By law it goes through the board. Has done since 1950. I can keep a fleece for the wife to knit with, and that's about the extent of my freedom."
Walker: "So where does it go?"
Farmer: "Washed in Bradford, if we're lucky. Shipped to China, spun, knitted, shipped back, and sold to you with a label about heritage. By the time it's in the window there are eleven people between us and I'm the only one who met the sheep."
Walker: "That's mad."
Farmer: "My grandfather paid the rent on the wool cheque. I pay a man to take it away. Same sheep, same hill, same jumper in the window. Only the price of the farmer went down."
Walker: "What would fix it?"
Farmer: "You buying the jumper. And asking them where the other £138 went."

Police should be held accountable 100%. They set the standards, they should live by them. Judges who allow these predators loose should also face being struck off
🚨🤬 THIS IS PC HASSNAIN SHAHZAD!!!!
THE DISGRACED FORMER METROPOLITAN POLICE CONSTABLE WHO SEXUALLY ASSAULTED A 14-YEAR-OLD SCHOOLGIRL TWICE WHILE SHE WAS OUT SHOPPING WITH HER MOTHER!!!! 🤬
THE 27-YEAR-OLD SEXUALLY ASSAULTED THE CHILD INSIDE A TESCO EXPRESS STORE IN BISHOPSGATE, LONDON, BEFORE FOLLOWING HER OUTSIDE AND SEXUALLY ASSAULTING HER AGAIN!!!!
SHOCKINGLY, THE MAN WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO HELP PROTECT THE PUBLIC WAS HIMSELF RESPONSIBLE FOR ATTACKING A CHILD!!!! 😡
THE SCHOOLGIRL INITIALLY THOUGHT THE FIRST TOUCHING MIGHT HAVE BEEN ACCIDENTAL, BUT WHEN HE TARGETED HER AGAIN OUTSIDE THE STORE, SHE REALISED WHAT HAD HAPPENED!!!!
AND IT GETS WORSE!!!!
WHEN POLICE EXAMINED HIS PHONE, THEY DISCOVERED VIDEOS SHOWING THAT HE HAD FOLLOWED WOMEN IN THE STREET AND FILMED THEIR BOTTOMS!!!!
BUT WHAT SENTENCE DID HE RECEIVE?! 🤬
JUDGE DAVID RICHARDS HANDED HIM A SIX-MONTH PRISON SENTENCE, SUSPENDED FOR 18 MONTHS!!!!
THAT MEANT HE WALKED AWAY WITHOUT SERVING AN IMMEDIATE PRISON SENTENCE DESPITE BEING CONVICTED OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A CHILD TWICE!!!!
HE WAS ALSO ORDERED TO COMPLETE 120 HOURS OF UNPAID WORK AND 25 REHABILITATION DAYS!!!!
ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL 🤬

Strange how our government will lock people up for hurty words but not for noncing. Kinda tells you everything you need to know about those in charge.
Maybe they should also learn about the Christian faith and values
Police officers in Bracknell, England, visited Bracknell Mosque for an educational session about Islam and Muslim culture, aiming to strengthen ties with the local Muslim community.
Organised by PCSO Molenda and a local imam, the visit included observing prayers, touring the mosque and attending a presentation about Islam.
Community members also provided refreshments.
Thames Valley Police said learning about different faiths and traditions helps build trust between officers and residents, supporting safer and more inclusive communities.

Shame on you @ApsanaBegumMP unblock Ben and address his legitimate questions. Do the job you were voted to do, or resign
I've been blocked by Labour MP Apsana Begum.
I've called her out numerous times for what I believe is her habit of prioritising issues affecting Bangladesh over the needs of the British people she was elected to represent.
Now she's blocked me.
It seems she can't handle scrutiny of her political priorities from me, a British voter.
This is the first time I've ever been blocked by a sitting Member of Parliament.
I find it highly disrespectful that an elected MP has chosen to block me.
MPs hold public office, are accountable to the British people and should expect their actions to be subjected to public scrutiny.
Blocking criticism doesn't make the questions go away.

Extremely serious allegations against the government tonight.
Sir Ben Wallace, the former Defence Secretary, has accused Labour of artificially inflating the defence budget by including security services spending.
This has been done, he alleges, to try and hoodwink Nato that we are on course to meet the commitment of defence spending as 3.5% of GDP by 2030.
DESPITE Nato rules clearly excluding security services in it's measurement.
The UK Statistics Authority is "considering" his complaint.
It doesn't need much consideration. It needs investigating, and if true, those complicit must pay the political price.
