Robots that dance, cook, make coffee, and even serve dinner! We got a glimpse of the future at Beijing’s Robotics Industrial Park!
China is investing heavily in robotics while also introducing policies to protect workers from job displacement and help them transition into new jobs.
But as automation advances around the world, an important question remains: How can we make sure the benefits of automation go to workers and communities, not just corporations?
Does a future filled with robots excite you or scare you? Let us know in the comments!

‘Until my last breath’: Macklemore launches 'Free Palestine' tour in Dublin after fallout with Ed Sheeran
——
US rapper Macklemore kicked off his Free Palestine tour in Dublin, Ireland, on Tuesday, pledging to stand with Palestinians and fight for “collective liberation” until his “last breath.”
The sold-out opening concert at Dublin's 3Arena drew 13,000 fans, many wearing keffiyehs and Palestinian flags and chanting “Free, free Palestine” throughout the performance.
Gaza-based Palestinian journalist and activist Bisan Owda virtually opened the concert, introducing a piece she helped choreograph featuring Palestinian children singing in Gaza, which was screened for the audience.
During the concert, Macklemore debuted his new song “Where Is Our Love,” wore a jersey supporting Irish rap group Kneecap, and described the opening night as one of the most powerful and memorable moments of his career. He has pledged to donate proceeds from the tour to organizations supporting Palestinians.
The tour follows Macklemore's removal as an opening act for Ed Sheeran after his outspoken support for Palestine during a September concert in New Jersey.
Addressing the controversy, Macklemore said the words “Free Palestine” had become more controversial than the suffering that made them necessary, condemning attempts to silence expressions of solidarity with Palestinians.
The three-city tour, which also features other pro-Palestinian artists, will continue in Paris and London, with US dates planned for later.

You cant just gaslight people into believing Labour is a socialist movement whilst Burnham is rejecting rent controls, selling arms to Israel, approving fossil fuel projects
Burnham has laid out a bold vision for Britain. Now, we must turn his vision into action.
Socialists are already organising across our movement. But we need you.
It’s time for a socialist Labour Party ready to deliver change.

The fear is not free.
It costs roughly $1 trillion a year.
That’s the U.S. "defense" budget.
Not the country being feared. The country doing the fearing.
Think about that arithmetic for a moment.
The nations you’re taught to lie awake worrying about combined spend a fraction of that figure. Some of them are under sanctions that make feeding their own populations difficult.
The fear industry, from the think tanks and contractors to the congressional districts with a Lockheed Martin plant that cannot afford to stop producing weapons because the jobs are the votes, needs you afraid.
Not occasionally. Not in proportion to actual threat.
Permanently. Reliably. On a renewable annual cycle that lines up with the budget vote.
Your fear is not a response to danger.
Your fear is a line item.

Bottom line: Israeli opposition has a strong majority to topple Netanyahu, but they'd rather keep him in office, go to another election round & commit political suicide than form a gov backed by Arab parties, b/c the latter might -God forbid- require ending the Gaza genocide or slowing down West Bank ethnic cleansing & settler terrorism
