I've been quiet while processing the loss of Captain Beezy. We only met about a year ago but bonded very quickly over some shared experiences and interests. I don't have the words to explain how awful it's been. Beezy and I had been working on a mental health charity event in memory of my late husband, SomethingStochastic AKA HusMod. Holding this kind of event was one of Beezy's big goals as a content creator. It only feels right to dedicate this to their memory, too. The HusMod and Captain Beezy Memorial charity event will run between 26th October to 1st November. It will be in aid of Samaritans, a suicide prevention charity whose work includes infrastructure for emotional support (e.g. a phone line), education, and policy research. If you feel passionate about the cause or the people it's dedicated to, please get involved however you can. I'll post more information in the next few weeks.
