Gonna release a trailer on my Game Dev YouTube channel sometime this week. It'll be my first ever Steam game. Been working on this project for a while now, so I'm praying everything goes well 💙

I'm gonna try to make an effort to streaming game dev stuff more in the future. Just trying to get back in the slew of things.
Hey everyone, I know it's been awhile but I'm gonna be streaming for a bit if anyone wants to join.

Shout-out to @SkidesGames for always being down to playtest my game and watch me debug in realtime whenever we hangout 😅

The third one is probably my favorite out of the 3. I feel like the thumbnails with the text and logo in the middle have too much empty space. I like the colors used in the thumbnails btw

I'm planning on releasing a demo in late June or early July at the latest. Have a few quality-of-life things I need to implement and I'm talking with some people to try to get some music/sound fx. Thank you btw, I've been working extremely hard on Splash-Out this month =)
✨ Game Dev Update ✨
Splash-Out is looking even cleaner with the new match intro and result screen!

So far the only buttons that work in the Main Menu are "Versus" and "Leave". However, I'm still really proud of how this menu is turning out, so I wanted to share =)
✨There's been a lot of work going into making Splash-Out look more professional. Here's a quick look at the updated menus and transition effect! ✨

I feel like it depends on how the background of the game looks. When looking at the sprite next to the light blue background, I'd say 3. But I can see 2 looking a lot better if it was on a yellow background for example

The lighting really complements your pixel art. How'd you make that hit effect when on the dummy btw? I've been wanting to make an effect like that for my own games but haven't been completely sure how to do it

I'll probably bring it up. Next devlog will most likely focus on porting the game to Godot 4 but I definitely want to bring up this moment up =)
I used my game, "Splash-Out", as my computer science Capstone project, & presented it to numerous people at the "PSCE Capstone Fair".
I got a LOT of positive feedback & it has definitely motivated me to continue developing this game in the future 😊
